Disney mug of the month: Mickey Jack O’Lantern

Last updated October 3, 2018 by Becky Leave a Comment

Welcome to October everyone!  So far the weather here has been pretty great, so I’m not too disappointed about losing summer.  And there are a lot of things I love about fall: the colors, the cooler air for running, and the excuse to dress up in fun costumes!  Not to mention… yes, the flavors of […]

Disney mug of the month: Magic Kingdom Starbucks

Last updated August 20, 2018 by Becky Leave a Comment

The Starbucks “You are Here” mugs have been popular now for awhile all over the world, and of course Disney World is no exception.  You can find these fun mugs at almost any major city (I see the Philadelphia ones around here all the time). Each of the Disney theme parks has a mug, and […]

Disney mug of the month: Disney Cruise Line

Last updated July 23, 2018 by Becky Leave a Comment

When we took our Disney Cruise in May on board the Disney Magic, it was the second time we were aboard a Disney ship. Shockingly, I did not purchase a mug the first time I was on a Disney Cruise! Of course I needed to rectify that this time. Jason made the mistake of allowing […]

Book Review: Beast: A Tale of Love and Revenge

Last updated July 10, 2018 by Becky Leave a Comment

As a librarian I sometimes have the opportunity to get advanced copies of books before they are published. Often these are handed out at conferences. When I was at the Public Library Association conference last March and stopped by the Candlewick Press booth and saw a Beauty and the Beast inspired book called Beast: A Tale […]

Disney mug of the month: Chip

Last updated June 25, 2018 by Becky Leave a Comment

I had been wanting this mug for awhile, so I was really excited when I finally got it, thanks to my Pixie Dust Pal! Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie, and Chip is just too cute – so when they came out with a ceramic Chip mug, it went on my wish […]

Book Review: How to be a Disney Historian

Last updated June 13, 2018 by Becky Leave a Comment

There is no doubt that this book is for a rather niche audience, and the author is very upfront and honest about that from the beginning.  I picked it up because I write the blog, I’m interested in history, and I’d love to learn more about Disney history and be able to write informed blog […]

Disney mug of the month: Flower and Garden Festival

Last updated May 29, 2018 by Becky Leave a Comment

I love the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. And I love the orange bird. So I have to tell you I was really excited when I saw that so much of this year’s Flower and Garden merchandise featured my little orange bird! I may have purchased almost all of it.  Including a mug. I […]

Disney mug of the month: WDW Marathon

Last updated March 21, 2018 by Becky 3 Comments

I happen to have gotten a couple of new mugs recently, which means we are all set for our next couple of mug of the month posts! I’m starting to think I’ll never run out 😉  While my mug this month is new, it’s a little bit of a throwback to a past Disney event […]

Disney mug of the month: Minnie Mouse

Last updated February 28, 2018 by Becky 4 Comments

When I picture the month of February, I picture the color red, and hearts, and all that fun romantic stuff because of Valentine’s Day.  So who better to represent February than Minnie Mouse herself?  She’s got the iconic red dress and she’s America’s sweetheart, right?  It only seemed fitting that I would be drinking my […]

Disney mug of the month: Mad Tea Party

Last updated January 23, 2018 by Becky 4 Comments

You might argue that this is not a mug because it is, in fact, a teacup.  However, I still count it in my mug collection.  Mugs come into so many shapes and sizes these days and teacups do have many similarities to mugs.  In fact, dictionary.com defines a mug as follows: “a drinking cup, usually […]

About Me

Hi, I'm Becky!

I'm a huge Disney fan in my early 30's and always trying to find a way to put a little bit of Disney into everyday life. I live in Pennsylvania but travel to the theme parks several times a year - I'm an annual passholder at Disney World! In addition to Disney I love traveling, running, and theater.
