When I picture the month of February, I picture the color red, and hearts, and all that fun romantic stuff because of Valentine’s Day. So who better to represent February than Minnie Mouse herself? She’s got the iconic red dress and she’s America’s sweetheart, right? It only seemed fitting that I would be drinking my coffee out of a Minnie mug this month.
I received this mug in one of the Disney subscription boxes I had received, which was entirely Minnie Mouse themed. Unfortunately that subscription box is no longer active, but if you’re interested there are plenty of great Disney subscription box choices that often include mugs! This is a tsum tsum version of Minnie Mouse, and since I collect tsum tsums too I think it’s extra adorable. You can’t deny that she’s pretty cute!
The mug itself is a simple red with white polka dots and a black handle, but there’s a little bit of detail that I thought was just too adorable – she’s got a little tail on the back, too!
What’s in my cup: I’m back to my Trader Sam’s coffee (recently changed their name to Expedition Roasters so I have to get used to that!), as there are so many good flavors and I feel like I can never go wrong with what they offer. Right now I’m enjoying the Enchanted Tiki Coconut. It gets me in the mood for tropical things, and since I’ve got a Disney trip at the end of February I want to get into the mood of warmer weather and sun!
What I’m currently reading: I just started this book called How to be a Disney Historian. I’d asked for it for Christmas because it sounded interesting, and I’m really excited to get into it. My understanding is that it shares information from many of the major Disney historians about how they researched and learned all about Disney history. One of the top requests from my reader survey was people saying they’d love more blog posts on Disney history, so I think this is a great way to get started and will hopefully give me some ideas for what I could write about.
What are you currently reading? And what’s in your mug this month?
