Thoughts on the Little Mermaid

Last updated May 22, 2016 by Becky 19 Comments

This is part of my series “Thoughts on Disney movies,” where I’ve gone back to watch all of the animated Disney features, starting with Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, and then share my thoughts on the blog. Highlights:  This movie is the one that really started the Disney renaissance of the 1990’s, and for […]

Disney World vs. Disneyland: Pirates of the Caribbean

Last updated May 12, 2016 by Becky 25 Comments

When I visited Disneyland for the first time, one of my questions was how the parks and rides were different from each other.  I wrote up a blog post about the general differences between the two parks, but now I want to take a closer look at the attractions that are on both coasts. […]

Best Breakfasts at Walt Disney World

Last updated May 12, 2021 by Becky 19 Comments

Breakfast can be a great time to enjoy some of the wonderful food that Disney has to offer.  Many breakfasts are character meals, in which Disney characters come around to your table while you dine, but there are plenty without characters as well.  A breakfast is a good way to get an early start to […]

Disney news, rumors, and round up – May 2016

Last updated April 29, 2016 by Becky 20 Comments

It’s just about May now, which is exciting for me for one big reason – I’m going back to Disney World!  I’ve got some exciting things planned, including visiting the Flower and Garden Festival, enjoying the Star Wars fireworks and dessert party, and dining with an animal specialist at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  I’ll be doing […]

Dining at the Skipper Canteen

Last updated April 18, 2016 by Becky 6 Comments

The newest restaurant in the Magic Kingdom, the Skipper Canteen opened back in December and I was lucky enough to give it a try when I was there in February!  It’s a table service restaurant located in Adventureland with a Jungle Cruise theme.  It’s been getting mixed reviews from people, mostly due to the fact […]

Disney news, rumors, and round up – April 2016

Last updated April 1, 2016 by Becky 16 Comments

Is it just me or did March seem to fly by?  My personal life is so crazy right now – I’m playing a major part in a musical that opens on April 15th so rehearsals are getting intense right now.  I also have my first race since Disney – I’ll be running the Hershey 10k […]

The extra cost for extra magic

Last updated March 25, 2016 by Becky 32 Comments

One of the things that always made Disney World a special place was that it didn’t feel like they were nickel and diming you.  Sure, you pay a lot upfront to be able to go.  But once you get there everything is included, and you don’t feel like they’re trying to upsell you on things.  […]

A day at Disney: Magic Kingdom

Last updated March 14, 2016 by Becky 39 Comments

One of my readers suggested that they would love to hear about how I spend a day at Disney, so I thought it would be fun to share that with you all!  Because I go so often I don’t always do the parks the way a typical person might – there are rides I will […]

Disney news, rumors, and round up – March 2016

Last updated March 2, 2016 by Becky 30 Comments

There are going to be a lot of exciting things coming to the blog this month!  I’ve returned from a long weekend at Disney World which included two Disney races, trying the Skipper Canteen, and lots of other fun things.  And after that I got on board a Disney Cruise!  I’ve been on other cruise […]

Free Magic Kingdom restaurant checklist!

Last updated January 27, 2016 by Becky 26 Comments

One of my most popular posts two years ago was my Disney World restaurant checklist.  However, many things have changed since I made that list – particularly with Disney Springs, but all of the theme parks have had places that opened or closed recently. Because of this, I thought I would design a new checklist […]

About Me

Hi, I'm Becky!

I'm a huge Disney fan in my early 30's and always trying to find a way to put a little bit of Disney into everyday life. I live in Pennsylvania but travel to the theme parks several times a year - I'm an annual passholder at Disney World! In addition to Disney I love traveling, running, and theater.
