It’s funny because I started out last month’s round-up talking about what an awesome month June was. Unfortunately July fell back into pretty horrible territory for me from a personal standpoint, but I’m going to keep fighting through it. It’s only August and I’m pretty much ready for 2017 to be over! But at […]
Disney characters who made mistakes
We’re about to get really real on the blog today. This is probably one of the most honest posts I’ve written. Since I write about Disney it’s fairly easy to keep my personal life separate from the blog. Sure, I’ll talk a bit about my trips, and in my monthly goals I dive into […]
D23 Expo 2017: The Power of the Princess
This panel at the D23 Expo featured the voice actors of 4 popular and empowering Disney Princesses: Paige O’Hara (Belle), Jodi Benson (Ariel), Anika Noni Rose (Tiana), and Auli’i Cravalho (Moana). They all spoke first hand about what it was like to get the part, practice it, and what it meant to them. Words can’t […]

Disney news, rumors, and round up – June 2017
May was a pretty exhausting month, but the one good thing is that for the most part, it got a lot better than the first 4 months of the year. The first week or two was rough – if you’ve been following my round up posts you know that we lost our cat Merlin right […]
How to make a Moana running costume

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 review
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is the start of a pretty long list of summer movies coming out that I want to see. I managed to catch this one last week, and then I’ll have to check out Pirates of the Caribbean, Wonder Woman, and Cars 3 all within the next month or two! […]
Tangled themed birthday party!
I just started my last year in my 20’s, and to celebrate my 29th birthday party this year I decided to throw a Tangled themed party! It’s one of my favorite Disney movies, and I think it has a lot that you can do to throw a good themed party – plenty of iconic characters […]
Thoughts on The Lion King
This is part of my series “Thoughts on Disney movies,” where I’ve gone back to watch all of the animated Disney features, starting with Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, and then share my thoughts on the blog. Highlights: As a child, The Lion King was hands down my favorite Disney movie. I had a […]
Beauty and the Beast quotes
I’m sure many of you know that I love Beauty and the Beast. The animated one is probably my favorite animated Disney movie of all time. But I loved the new live action one too. There are so many great characters and so many great lines in both the songs and the dialogue. I went […]
