Disney news, rumors, and round up: November 2018

November 1, 2018 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

It’s November, and guess what that means for me?? A trip to Disney! After the October I’ve had, I totally need to escape to my happy place for a little bit. Someone recently asked me if I’d been to Disney World in November before and what the weather is like, and I realized this will […]

Disney news, rumors, and round up: October 2018

October 1, 2018 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

Welcome to fall! It finally feels a little cooler here in Pennsylvania, though I’m not sure the same can be said for Florida.  Plenty is going on in the world of Disney right now, with some big announcements about Disney Cruise Line, lots of theme park fun, and new movies coming out in November and […]

Animator’s Palate on the Disney Magic

September 17, 2018 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

Our first night on the Disney Magic we were assigned to dine at Animator’s Palate. I was excited for this restaurant – they have a version of Animator’s Palate on every Disney Cruise ship, but they are all different in some way.  I hadn’t searched what the gimmick at this one was, so I knew […]

Whiskey Tasting on the Disney Magic

August 31, 2018 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

Disney Cruise Line offers a number of drink classes, where you can learn about a certain type of alcohol and try different kinds in a sort of tasting.  It’s an extra fee that you need to sign up in advance for (and you can do that either online ahead of time or once you’re on […]

All about Castaway Cay

July 27, 2018 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

One of the highlights of any Bahamian cruise on the Disney Cruise Line is a visit to Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island. Here you’ve got an island in the Bahamas with all of the magic, charm, and service that Disney has to offer – plus a healthy dose of Mickey and friends, of course! We’ve […]

Disney mug of the month: Disney Cruise Line

July 23, 2018 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

When we took our Disney Cruise in May on board the Disney Magic, it was the second time we were aboard a Disney ship. Shockingly, I did not purchase a mug the first time I was on a Disney Cruise! Of course I needed to rectify that this time. Jason made the mistake of allowing […]

The Rainforest Room on the Disney Magic

July 17, 2018 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

When Jason heard we were taking another Disney cruise, one of the things he was most excited about was the Rainforest Room.  We had enjoyed it immensely on the Dream, and he was ready to enjoy it again. I warned him that the one on the Magic wasn’t as big, but we still enjoyed this […]

Lumiere’s on the Disney Magic

July 11, 2018 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

Lumiere’s is one of the three main restaurants on the Disney Magic cruise ship.  When on board you are assigned a restaurant rotation so you get to try all of the main restaurants. For our Disney Cruise to the Bahamas last May, Lumiere’s on the Disney Magic was the last night of our voyage. As […]

An Overview of the Disney Magic

July 6, 2018 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

The Magic was Disney’s first cruise ship, but despite being older it’s still a blast to be on! We got to sail on the Magic for 4 nights in May, and our cruise was great, as was the ship. It’s been refurbed and updated in many areas and there are plenty of cool things to […]

About Me

Hi, I'm Becky!

I'm a huge Disney fan in my early 30's and always trying to find a way to put a little bit of Disney into everyday life. I live in Pennsylvania but travel to the theme parks several times a year - I'm an annual passholder at Disney World! In addition to Disney I love traveling, running, and theater.
