The past month or so I’ve been writing in a planner that asks me to list an “affirmation” for the day each morning. This is a phrase or quote that should get me encouraged and reassured to get me through the day. Sometimes I just do something simple like “You are strong.” I’m a big […]
Thoughts on Meet the Robinsons
This is part of my series “Thoughts on Disney movies,” where I’ve gone back to watch all of the animated Disney features, starting with Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, and then share my thoughts on the blog. Highlights: I do feel like Meet the Robinsons is kind of the sleeper hit of the mid/early 2000’s. There […]
Thoughts on Chicken Little
This is part of my series “Thoughts on Disney movies,” where I’ve gone back to watch all of the animated Disney features, starting with Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, and then share my thoughts on the blog. Highlights: I’ve heard people say that Chicken Little is the worst Disney movie ever made. I actually wouldn’t rate […]
And the winner of the Disney villains tournament is…
You’ve been voting for the whole month of March, and now it’s finally time to reveal the winner of the Disney villains tournament! Our final two were a surprise to me, but I think they are some great choices! I originally anticipated that we would see more classic villains in the finals, like Maleficent, Cruella […]
Disney news, rumors, and round up: April 2020

Thoughts on Home on the Range
This is part of my series “Thoughts on Disney movies,” where I’ve gone back to watch all of the animated Disney features, starting with Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, and then share my thoughts on the blog. Highlights: Judi Dench is one of the voice actors! Okay, so it’s a little weird that she’s voicing a […]
100 Disney things you can do at home
You’re stuck inside. There’s no hope of travel plans anytime soon, or even the ability to go out to the movie theater, and friend’s house, or a restaurant. It can seem hard to get some of that Disney magic in your life with these circumstances, but my blog was founded on the idea that there’s […]
March tournament – Disney villains, round 4
We’re here for round 4, which means we are down to the final 4 Disney villains! Did I expect these villains to be the final 4? No, definitely not all of them! I will be honest, as a lover of Princess and the Frog I’m thrilling to see Dr. Facilier here but I certainly didn’t […]
