My thoughts on The Mandalorian and Grogu movie: Not every movie has to be a work of art or commentary on some big theme. This is a movie that is fun, exciting, heartfelt, and funny. And honestly, sometimes that’s enough. It’s no surprise that Disney chose to make a movie of The Mandalorian. The series […]
Disney mug of the month: Grogu Corksicle
If you’ve been around Disney World much lately and you happen to pay attention to merchandise, you’re probably familiar with Corksicle (or you’ve at least heard the name). They started popping up around Disney Springs, and then became a sponsor for some of the RunDisney events. They have a number of collabs with Disney now, […]
And the winner of the Disney+ TV show tournament is…
Disney in your Day readers have been voting for their favorite Disney+ original TV shows throughout the month of March and early April. Now it’s finally time to announce the ultimate winner of our tournament! Our final two were fitting, I felt – both are excellent shows, though they are quite different. We started with […]
How to make a Baby Yoda pumpkin carving
How I made my Baby Yoda pumpkin carving: Normally I like to paint pumpkins – I don’t have to get around any sharp objects and I have done my paintings on fake pumpkins so I can keep them from year to year. But this year we actually went out to a pumpkin patch to get […]
Disney mug of the month: Too cute to Spook
I have some surprising news to share: I went to Disney World for 6 days the first week of September and I did not come home with a mug. This is really only surprising news if you know me, because I (obviously) love Disney mugs and typically come back with one from every trip. For […]
Disney mug of the month: Grogu in his pod
Have I previously featured a Baby Yoda mug (or two) on the blog before? I mean really, who’s counting? (Other than me as I go back through my archives to see what mugs I haven’t featured yet and discovered that this is Baby Yoda mug #4). But he’s so cute, can you really blame me? […]
Easy and adorable DIY baby yoda Easter eggs
Make your own Mandalorian and DIY baby yoda Easter eggs: I know Easter isn’t always a big celebration or holiday for many people, but I grew up in a family that made a big deal out of Easter. Part of it is when Easter falls in the calendar year – my dad and I have […]
Disney mug of the month: Baby Yoda would rather be napping
Even with Christmas looking a bit different this past year, we still had a lovely holiday and I was very fortunate to receive some really nice gifts from friends and family. Perhaps not surprisingly I think at least 70% of my gifts were Baby Yoda related! (And yes, I know he has a name now […]
Disney mug of the month: Protect, Attack, Snack
One of the things I’m looking forward to the most about the end of October is season 2 of the Mandalorian! The new season comes out on Disney+ starting October 30th. They release one episode a week, so you can’t binge it right away. Personally, I prefer this format. It gives me something to look […]
ShopDisney items to celebrate May the 4th!
Add a little Star Wars to your day on May the 4th! It’s always fun to do something a little special on May 4th if you’re a Star Wars fan, but this year it feels even more significant since most of us have more time at home. It’s a fun way to add a little […]
