Disney in your Day readers have been voting on the best villain sidekicks on both the blog and on instagram throughout the month of March and early April. Now it’s finally time to announce the ultimate winner of our tournament! Our final two were both strong contenders, and it was actually a bit closer than I expected. […]
March tournament 2025 – Villains sidekicks, final round
It’s the final round of the villains sidekicks tournament, and only two remain… While there were a couple of surprises along the way in how the voting went, I think we ended up with 2 decent choices for the best villain sidekick, though they are pretty different. Alas, my personal favorites are no longer in […]
March 2025 tournament – Disney villain sidekicks, round 4
We are now on to round 4, which means we now have your final 4 Disney villain sidekicks! That leaves us with one from each category. We have 1 human sidekick, 1 animal sidekick, 1 group of sidekicks, and 1 from the “other” category. Some of the results are what I was thinking from the […]
March 2025 tournament – Disney villain sidekicks, round 3
YOU have spoken – here are the villain sidekicks who have made it to round 3! Some of the match-ups this round still went the way I expected them to go, but most were a lot closer than I thought they would be! And some that I thought would be close were really not. Even […]
March 2025 tournament – Disney villain sidekicks, round 2
The first round of the Disney villains sidekicks tournament is over! As usual, the first round was the easiest one. There were a number of villain sidekicks that rose up on top of others, and nothing truly surprised me. There was only one match-up that turned out differently than I had predicted. That was Flotsam […]
March 2025 tournament – Disney villain sidekicks
It’s March, which means it’s time for another Disney themed tournament on the blog! This is the 11th year I’m hosting this tournament. We’ve had lots of topics in the past… and honestly, I could start repeating some of them! I think it would be fun to go back to visit something like the tournament […]
And the winner of the Disney sidekicks tournament is…
Disney in your Day readers have been voting for the month of March. (by the way, I feel like I need a better way to address my audience with a cool name or something, but I’ve got nothing. “Disney in your Day-ers” is definitely not it!). I am not totally surprised by our final two, […]
March tournament – Disney sidekicks, final round
It’s the final round, and only 2 Disney sidekicks remain! I will say I think this tournament went more how I was expecting it to go than tournaments in past year. There were fewer surprises. Though I’m not sure I would have guessed this match up as the final two! I thought perhaps Olaf would […]
March tournament – Disney sidekicks, round 4
We are now on to round 4, which means we have arrived at our final 4 Disney sidekicks! I will say this tournament has been a little bit more what I expected than last year’s villains tournament, which really shook things up. If I had to predict the final 4 it not have been exactly […]
March tournament – Disney sidekicks, round 3
The Disney fans have spoken – and we are now on to round 3 of the Disney sidekicks tournament. Some of the match-ups in this round were still runaways. Genie completely dominated over Meeko, and Pascal took a surprisingly big lead over Jiminy Cricket. Some races were really close, with Pumbaa vs. Tinkerbell coming down […]
