Wow. I had the opportunity to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland, and it was honestly better than I could have hoped for. With the reservation system that they have in place until June 23rd it wasn’t overly crowded, and we got to experience a lot of what the land had to offer. There […]
Disney news, rumors, and round up: June 2019
June is upon us, which basically means… Star Wars! yes, Galaxy’s Edge is the big news everyone is talking about, and I’m sure you’ll find it all over every blog around in the coming weeks. I’ll be posting about it as well, and hopefully I can find some interesting or unique angles to share about […]
Aladdin live action review
Disney has been going strong with the live action remakes of classic animated films, and they’ve been hit or miss – both with the public and myself. While I loved Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, I hated Maleficent and Dumbo. Aladdin had faced a fair bit of criticism before release, both due to Will […]
How to make an Inside Out cake
When I threw my Inside Out themed birthday party, I may have gotten just a little ambitious with the cake. I was searching Pinterest for ideas and came across one that I loved. However, it certainly looked complicated and above my limited baking experience. Nevertheless, it would be so cool if it worked! I decided […]
What to wear to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Headed to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge sometime in the next year when it opens? Whether you’re in Disneyland or Disney World, you want the perfect Star Wars outfit to war there! Because let’s be honest: you gotta look good for instagram, right? I can’t wait to see all of the amazing photo opportunities (even if […]
Avengers: Endgame thoughts
Just like when Avengers: Infinity War came out, I don’t feel comfortable writing a “review” of the movie. I’d rather just share my thoughts. The Marvel movies, and especially the Avengers, are extremely sentimental and emotional for many people, and I don’t want to nitpick things in a review. While I enjoy the Marvel films […]
The details of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
There has been a ton of new information and details about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, from all sorts of different sources. The Disney Parks blog, Star Wars Celebration, things that have popped up in various facebook groups, and through my travel agent email. It seems like a lot to keep track of, and with my […]
An Inside Out birthday party
It’s April, which means it’s my birthday month – and what better way to celebrate than with an Inside Out birthday party! I’ve had the tradition for awhile of throwing a Disney themed party for myself, choosing a different movie each year. In the past we’ve done Tangled, Princess and the Frog, Beauty and the […]
Dumbo live action review
It seems that whether we like it or not, Disney is going to continue making live action versions of basically every animated film they’ve ever created. Even movies featuring animals have been no exception, with The Jungle Book coming out a few years ago and The Lion King up this summer. Dumbo has not escaped […]
Disney news, rumors, and round up: April 2019
Only some of the biggest news ever last month came out for Disney – that, of course, is about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and their opening day announcements. I wrote a full blog post about what we know so far and everything to expect that you can find here. Even if you’re not a Star […]
