All about attending the D23 panel on The Muppets Musical history in 2026: I love learning about anything Disney, and the panels at D23 are a great way to get some lesser known or behind the scenes info. Often directly from the mouths of the people who worked on these projects! One of the panels […]
Beauty and the Beast: A Tale as Old as Time at D23
All about attending the D23 Beauty and the Beast panel at the 2026 fan event: If you didn’t attend the D23 fan event, you probably really only hear about the major news and the big presentations. Things like the theme park announcements and new movie trailers. But one of the highlights, for me, is attending […]
Beyond the announcements: my real experience at the D23 Expo 2026
All about my experience at the D23 Expo 2026, including what I did, panels I saw, and more: I will preface this by saying I know that Disney now officially calls this event the “Ultimate Fan Event” and not Expo. But that, frankly, feels like a mouthful. So I will continue to refer to it […]

Zero to Hero: The making of Hercules at the D23 Expo 2017

My Disneyland/D23 Expo Haul
I don’t think I buy as much Disney merchandise as some big fans, but I also buy more than others. I’ve tried to stick to buying things that I really love and will actually use. I like having these items as reminders of my trip and the good memories associated with it. Disney has so […]
Cosplay at the D23 Expo 2017
Before attending my first D23 Expo, I knew that people would get dressed up. I imagined there would be lots of people in Disney t-shirts, Disney Bounding, and some costumes. I had no idea the extent to which people would create the most amazing and incredible costumes! Many of these cosplays (a term that comes […]
Thoughts on the park news from the D23 Expo
At the D23 Expo last month we got a lot of big news about the new things coming to Disney parks. I shared an update of what all those things are, but today I wanted to share some of my thoughts about what we heard. Some things are very exciting, while others have people with […]
News, rumors, and round up – August 2017
It’s funny because I started out last month’s round-up talking about what an awesome month June was. Unfortunately July fell back into pretty horrible territory for me from a personal standpoint, but I’m going to keep fighting through it. It’s only August and I’m pretty much ready for 2017 to be over! But at […]
