Disney merchandise at Primark!

December 11, 2015 by beckyginther@gmail.com 7 Comments

When I studied abroad in Oxford, England, one of the highlights of day to day life was visiting Primark.  If you’re not familiar with it, Primark is mainly a clothing store that started in Ireland, though they have a number of other things there as well (a small home goods section, make-up, shoes, etc.).  The […]

Etsy Spotlight: Worlds of Wonder Soap

November 25, 2015 by beckyginther@gmail.com 47 Comments

This post has been sponsored by Worlds of Wonder soap.  All opinions are completely my own. What is something that everyone needs to use, but is also a fun item that can be used for pampering?  Why, soap, of course!  While soap is something necessary in our day to day lives, that doesn’t mean it […]

Are you one of the many Disney fans who are addicted to tsum tsums?  Or have you not even heard of them?  (If that’s the case, be sure to check out my post on an Introduction to Tsum Tsums!).  These adorable tiny stuffed Disney characters are perfectly stackable and too cute for words.  It’s also […]

Who should I dress as for the Disneyland Half Marathon?

January 6, 2015 by beckyginther@gmail.com 3 Comments

I know my costumes for my upcoming Disney races during Princess weekend: I’ll be doing Snow White for the 10k and Anna for the Half.  However, I’m also planning to sign up for the Disneyland half marathon in September!  And honestly, one of my favorite parts of planning for a race is deciding on a […]

Thoughts on Fun and Fancy Free

December 23, 2014 by beckyginther@gmail.com 3 Comments

The next in the series of “package films” from the 1940’s, this one features two shorts: Bongo, about a bear who runs away from the circus, and Mickey and the Beanstalk, a sort of re-telling of Jack and the Beanstalk. Highlights:  Mickey and the Beanstalk is a cute, fun film with lots of little gags […]

Making a Mickey gingerbread house

December 20, 2014 by beckyginther@gmail.com 1 Comment

Last year my mom found this adorable Mickey gingerbread house at Cracker Barrel, which of course she bought for me.  We finally got around to putting it together this year, and I’m so pleased with how it came out!  It’s like your typical gingerbread house, but it has some cute little Disney touches included, such […]

Disney Christmas Ornaments

December 16, 2014 by beckyginther@gmail.com 2 Comments

One of my favorite items at Disney around the holidays is Christmas ornaments!  They are a fun way to add Disney into your holidays, and they also make great souvenirs from the parks.  Whether you get them from Hallmark, Disney World, or the Disney Store, there are so many wonderful Disney Christmas ornaments to choose […]

Thoughts on Fantasia

September 30, 2014 by beckyginther@gmail.com 2 Comments

Highlights: Fantasia is a really unique movie, in that it’s basically a series of shorts that are all set to music – so there is no dialogue, the story is told through the images and the music.  It’s a really neat way to introduce people to many of these famous pieces, and the way they […]

Yay April!  I enjoy this month.  It’s my birthday month, for one!  And it finally starts to get a little warmer around here, which is so nice.  We took a trip to Disney last April and it was fantastic!  Here’s some of my April Calendar shots: Spring nights in Epcot are so pleasant 🙂 April […]

About Me

Hi, I'm Becky!

I'm a huge Disney fan in my early 30's and always trying to find a way to put a little bit of Disney into everyday life. I live in Pennsylvania but travel to the theme parks several times a year - I'm an annual passholder at Disney World! In addition to Disney I love traveling, running, and theater.
