March 2026 tournament: Muppets, round 3

YOU have spoken – here are the Muppets who have made it to round 3!

Some of these match-ups did go the way I expected them to go, but more than half of them were incredibly close. And one or two results surprised me!

Even more interestingly, some match-ups went one way on the blog and had a different result on the Instagram poll. I tally up the votes from both and add them together, but those who voted on the blog and those who voted on Instagram seem to have different opinions!

Kermit, Miss Piggy, and Gonzo all pretty strongly dominated their match-ups, which I expected. But Fozzie Bear came out ahead by a much smaller margin – so will he make it through this round? He got much more love on the instagram voting than the blog.

3 of the match-ups were a difference of just 1 or two votes (so another reminder that every vote counts!) We’ve got Rizzo over Animal, Swedish Chef instead of Rowlf, and Pepe beating out Sam the Eagle – but it could have easily gone the other way, I think.

Now that we’re down to our final 8 Muppets it’s only going to get more difficult. I certainly had my thoughts on who the final 4 would be when I created the bracket, but I’m always here for an upset.
