A review of a Disney mystery box full of ties, cufflinks, and more from cufflinks.com:
I don’t know about you, but I love a good surprise. That’s one of the reasons why I really enjoy getting subscription boxes where you don’t know exactly what’s coming. I’ve been able to try some cool new things that way or get items I may not have bought for myself but ended up loving. And there’s lots of Disney subscription boxes out there too! Recently I found a great one I wanted to share, which is a Disney Mystery Box from Cufflinks.com.
I had shared a bit about this company earlier and how much I really liked their products – they offer ties, cufflinks, and other more formal wear for men but they have lots of really cool options for Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars fans. They are really great quality and many tend to be more subtle Disney which is a nice touch. Jason got lots of compliments on the items he wore during our last trip to Disney World.
If you’ve been intrigued by these items but also on a budget, the mystery box is an amazing option. Unlike some mystery boxes which feel overpriced, this is actually an amazing bargain. The Disney mystery box is $50 and the items inside are mostly older stock/discontinued, but that doesn’t mean they’re not still great. The introduce new collections often so they have to make room for the new, and so these mystery boxes work out for everyone!
Let’s take a look at what was inside my Disney mystery box:

I was honestly blown away by how many items were inside of my $50 box. I know these are good products and their retail price is on the higher end, so I was expecting maybe 3-4 things. But I actually received two ties, two bow ties, two tie pins, a pocket square, and a pair of cufflinks. It’s a value of more than $200 and it’s all Disney themed. I think if you’re a Disney fan and you like a variety of movies/characters and just want to add some fun formal stuff to your wardrobe, this is a great way to do it at a low price.

I did receive items from a few different movies/characters. It was nice when there were multiple items from one franchise because you can coordinate them too! For example, 4 of the items in my box were Aladdin themed. These included a Jafar bow tie, a Genie bow tie, a Cave of Wonders pin, and a Jafar pocket square. If you wanted to do a villain look you pretty much have all the accessories you need.
There were a few items from Pirates of the Caribbean too, which were very subtle. The pin is a nice little touch, and the cufflinks are also not obviously “in your face” Disney (in fact, although I’ve seen the Pirates movies it’s been awhile so I wasn’t 100% sure what they were at first!).
I also got two additional ties. The Toy Story one is really pretty. I like how they incorporated some brighter colors into it without being over the top bright – it’s a silver tie but the characters appear on it outlined in various primary colors. The other tie was a Christmas tie. This one actually doesn’t feel Disney at all (it’s based on the Nutcracker movie that was released) so it’s perfect for any Christmas outfit really.
Overall I was super impressed with this Disney mystery box from Cufflinks.com. There was a ton of stuff packed inside and it was all really nice. Jason is going to have to do a lot of dressing up with me now! The value is a lot. They guarantee at least 6 items in each box. Normally their ties go for $58, cufflinks are $70, bow ties are $48, pocket squares are $28, and lapel pins are $20. That means the value I got in this box was $350 and it only cost $50! Can’t really beat that.
