Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante dinner review

June 25, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

I love to run. I believe one of the reasons is because it means I can eat large amounts of pasta before a big race without feeling guilty. I know there is some mixed information out there about whether or not “carb loading” actually works, but I’ve found that it is good for me. Pasta […]

Sweet potato pancake recipe from The Wave

June 11, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

The Wave is kind of a hidden gem of Disney restaurants. It’s located in the Contemporary resort, but it’s not one of the highly publicized restaurants there, like Chef Mickey’s for the character meals for California Grill for the delicious food and amazing views. However, The Wave is a great restaurant and breakfast there is […]

Mickey pretzel recipe

May 11, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

I recently asked a question over in my Disney facebook group: if the parks were back open and everything was safe, where would be the first place you’d go to eat? I expected answers along the lines of fancy meals at Be our Guest or Le Cellier. And while I got some of those, the […]

Peanut Butter and Banana with Chocolate French Toast recipe

April 28, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

The first time I went to Disneyland we had dinner at PCH Grill at Paradise Pier Hotel. I thought it was really good for a buffet – and I’d heard excellent things about the breakfast as well. I’ve never tried it, but I was excited when Disney shared a recipe for one of the highlights […]

Champagne jello recipe from Palo brunch

April 20, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

Hands down the best meal we’ve had on a Disney cruise is the brunch at Palo. There is a large appetizer buffet, plated entrees, and then delicious little bite size desserts. I tried to save room to try a number of the desserts! While there were plenty of delicious chocolate treats, one of the highlights […]

Citrus Swirl recipe

April 9, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

My favorite Disney treat of all time is the citrus swirl. This is no surprise if you know me – I get one every time in Magic Kingdom and my home office is covered in orange bird stuff. Of course I’m missing lots of things about Disney, but when it comes to food and snacks […]

Wine Bar George brunch

March 11, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

When I first heard about the new Wine Bar George brunch, I knew I wanted to try and squeeze it in during a trip! Since it’s only on the weekends, we scheduled it for Saturday morning after the half marathon in January. We had a group of 5 of us going to try it out! […]

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

February 27, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

When I arrived in Disney World on February 20th and found out that Regal Eagle Smokehouse had just opened in Epcot that day (not announced in advance!), of course I had to check it out. I managed to get there for lunch the next day to try some of the yummy barbecue food. This new […]

Sanaa bread service recipe

February 18, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

I won’t lie, one of the best things about Disney World is the food. I often get asked what my favorite restaurant in Disney is, and it’s really hard to decide. They have some amazing signature dining experiences, fun character meals, and lots of good food. But the one place I keep coming back to […]

Breakfast and Dinner at Olivia’s Cafe

February 13, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

During our last trip to Disney we stayed at Old Key West, so we had the chance to dine at Olivia’s Cafe twice – once for dinner, and once for breakfast. I’d heard the food was good but it wasn’t usually too busy since it’s a little bit off the beaten path. We had a […]

About Me

Hi, I'm Becky!

I'm a huge Disney fan in my early 30's and always trying to find a way to put a little bit of Disney into everyday life. I live in Pennsylvania but travel to the theme parks several times a year - I'm an annual passholder at Disney World! In addition to Disney I love traveling, running, and theater.
