March 2025 tournament – Disney villain sidekicks, round 3

Some of the match-ups this round still went the way I expected them to go, but most were a lot closer than I thought they would be! And some that I thought would be close were really not.

Even more interestingly, some match-ups went one way on the blog and had a different result on the Instagram poll. I tally up the votes from both and add them together, but those who voted on the blog and those who voted on Instagram seem to have different opinions!

While LeFou and Smee were actually tied on the blog votes, Smee took a huge lead on Instagram. The Stepsisters vs. Pain and Panic match-up was much closer than I thought it would be too. While the Stepsisters won over Instagram followers, Pain & Panic pulled out enough votes on the blog to take the overall lead.

Sir Hiss got a lot more love than I expected, but still ultimately lost to Iago. As I suspected, the Magic Mirror beat out Sour Bill (but not if blog voters had their way – Sour Bill would have won without the Instagram votes!).

Now that we’re down to our final 8 villain sidekicks it’s only going to get more difficult. There are a few I thought would be here who didn’t make it, but I’m honestly not sure which of these will make the cut to the final 4.
