Best Flower and Garden Festival food and drinks

Last updated March 15, 2026 by Becky 11 Comments

A look at the best Flower and Garden Festival food and drink options:

I love the festivals at Epcot – I know many people joke it’s now the “festival park,” but they’ve added some really ones throughout the years. Food and Wine is a classic, and lately Festival of the Arts has been becoming a favorite. But there is something about the Flower and Garden Festival that I just really love.

They food is typically more appealing to me at Flower and Garden, because they focus on vibrant, fresh flavors with a lot of fruit and vegetable options. The dishes feel lighter instead of some of the heavier items at Food and Wine. The drinks are also a lot of fun, with many floral or fruit inspired beverages. I’ve been to Flower and Garden Festival a number of times to try the food, and while there are some returning favorites there are also some great new additions this year as well!

I’ve tried a lot of the different food and drink items through the years, and decided to put together a list of my favorites. Of course I couldn’t narrow it down to just a top 10 Best Flower and Garden Festival food and drinks list combined, so instead you get a top 10 best Flower and Garden Festival food list AND a top 10 best Flower and Garden drink list!

And if you’ve tried the food this year or in years past, let me know what you think – agree, disagree? Anything on this list you’re now dying to try?

Top 10 best Flower and Garden food items:

Orange Blossom-Saffron Cake

This dessert truly is beautiful. It almost looks like it should be at Festival of the Arts rather than Flower & Garden! It tasted quite nice, and was a lighter sweet option without being overly sweet. And a little touch of salty with the pistachios!

  • Booth: Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina
  • Location: Morocco Pavilion
  • Price: $5.29

Frushi

Strawberry, pineapple, and honeydew wrapped in coconut rice and tri-color soy wrap served with coconut cream sauce and toasted coconut

This is one of the classic Flower and Garden Festival dishes that has been around basically since the beginning. It’s a fun twist on fruit and it looks cool. It might be a bit overpriced but it’s fun and unique. And it tastes very good! The fruit is fairly straight forward but I love all the additions. The sauce and toasted coconut especially work well.

  • Booth: Hanami
  • Location: Japan pavilion
  • Price: $7.50

Grilled Street Corn on the Cob

with savory garlic spread and “cheese” (Plant-based)

The Beach Grub booth was new for 2026, but the grilled street corn moves on over from Trowel and Trellis. I love a good grilled corn on the cob, but when you add some garlic spread and toppings it becomes even better. I don’t believe the vegan cheese was present last time I tried it, so I look forward to that addition.

  • Booth: Beach Grub
  • Location: next to Playalong Bay Play Garden
  • Price: $5.99

Spicy Hot Dog

with Pineapple Chutney and Plantain Chips

There’s a lot of great things going on in this dish. The spicy hot dog has a nice little kick but it isn’t overly spicy, and it’s paired well with the sweet pineapple chutney. I’m a big fan of things that combine spicy and sweet. The plantain chips give it a little crunch as well. The biggest downside for me is that this is a full-size hot dog, not a tasting size like many of the dishes at the festival. A few years ago it was half a hot dog but now they’ve switched to a full. We cut it in half and shared it, which worked well, but now if I’m going solo I typically have to skip it so I can try other things.

  • Booth: Pineapple Promenade
  • Location: Showcase Plaza
  • Price: $7.99

Chicken and Waffles

Crispy chicken and a sweet honey-bacon cornbread waffle with whipped honey butter and orange blossom honey

My favorite dish of all-time from the Flower and Garden Festival was at Honey Bee-stro, and that was the honey spoonbread. It’s no longer on the menu, but this chicken and waffles dish has a honey cornbread waffle, so it’s at least close. It’s a generous portion and a great variety of flavors.

  • Booth: Honey Bee-stro
  • Location: Culinary Corridor
  • Price: $6.99

Toasted Pretzel Bread

topped with Black Forest Ham and Melted Gruyère Cheese

This is another one of those dishes that it’s pretty hard to go wrong with. The combination of ham and melted cheese on a pretzel roll is rarely going to be a disappointment, so if you’re looking for something reliable (and something that will pair well with your beer!), this is a tasty option and big enough to share if you’re sampling a number of things. It may not be the most Instagrammable, but it tastes good.

  • Booth: Bauernmarkt
  • Location: Germany pavilion
  • Price: $6.19

Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake

with fresh honey, granulated honey, and honey mead-blueberry compote

This is a new version of this dessert, and I will admit I haven’t tried the liquid nitro one yet. But I had it when it was a regular cheesecake over at Honey Bee-stro, and it was delicious, so I’m looking forward to this. I’m not a huge fan of cheesecake in general but this dessert was one of my favorites at Flower and Garden in the past. It’s sweet without being sickly sweet. The honey mead-blueberry compote sounds good as well, so I hope it can live up to past versions!

  • Booth: Swirled Showcase
  • Location: near Refreshment Port
  • Price: $5.49

Avocado Toast

with marinated tomatoes and plant-based cheese crumbles on toasted ciabatta (Plant-based)

This is a somewhat simple but beautiful dish, and a great addition to the Flower and Garden Festival. The edible flowers make it a bit more fun. The ciabatta bread is a nice quality and the dish has very fresh ingredients. I think the marinated tomatoes are what makes it really stand out though.

  • Booth: Brunchcot
  • Location: near Test Track
  • Price: $6.49

Tanghulu

Skewer of strawberries and grapes coated in candied sugar syrup

The candied strawberries used to be a staple of the Flower and Garden Festival, but they’ve been off the menu for a few years (I even had to try and re-create them at home!). Now they’re back, in a slightly different form – this time the skewers are accompanied with grapes. The strawberries were sweet, juicy, and perfect. The candy coating had a great crunch and the wonderful tastes of sugar and sesame.  Put all together and it was just heaven. I have the imagine the grapes will be just as good.

  • Booth: Lan Yuan
  • Location: China
  • Price: $7.25

Orange-Sesame Tempura Shrimp

with orange-chile sauce

I enjoy most things at the Citrus Blossom booth, but the orange tempura shrimp is a great savory option! The chile in the sauce helps give it just a little bit of a kick and prevents it from being overly sweet. My shrimp were nice and crispy, too!

  • Booth: The Citrus Blossom
  • Location: Odyssey Building
  • Price: $7.79

La Vie en Rose Frozen Slushy

Vodka, Grey Goose l’Orange Vodka, St. Germain Liqueur, White and Red Cranberry Juice

Out of all the alcoholic slushies in France throughout the year, this is probably my second favorite (after the Grand Marnier one available year round). It has a nice tartness with a hint of sweetness and some floral notes as well.

  • Booth: Fleur de Lys
  • Location: France pavilion
  • Price: $14.75

German beer flight

Gaffel Kolsh, Stiegl Brewery Raspberry Radler, Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier

If you’re a fan of beer, use this opportunity to try a few different German beers. Some of the ones on this flight make appearances at other festivals (like Food and Wine), but there’s usually a fruitier Radler included during the spring. (This year it’s a raspberry one – I haven’t tried that one yet, but the grapefruit was delicious!)

  • Booth: Bauernmarkt
  • Location: Germany pavilion
  • Price: $12.75

Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade

Minute Maid Premium Lemonade with desert pear and violet syrups (Non-alcoholic)

I think this one does a lot of things right. It’s refreshing and cool in the Florida heat and it’s got a nice combo of tangy lemonade and sweet violet. My friend Jenn would say the violet isn’t strong enough but she’s really big on florals 😉

  • Booth: Pineapple Promenade
  • Location: Showcase Plaza
  • Price: $5.19

Pomegranate Mimosa

Sparkling wine and pomegranate juice

It sounds pretty simple, and it is – but it’s still delicious! I’m a big fan of sparkling beverages, and while I enjoy a mimosa it’s nice to have a twist. The pomegranate juice works really well here to make a drink that is less sweet than an orange juice mimosa, but still has a nice fruity flavor and some tartness to it.

  • Booth: Tangierine Cafe
  • Location: Morocco Pavilion
  • Price: $11.75

Cucumber Watermelon slushie

with gin, or non-alcoholic

Another light and refreshing drink option at the Flower and Garden Festival. It has great natural watermelon flavor, but you can also taste the cucumber, which keeps things interesting. It’s good both with and without the gin.

  • Booth: Florida Fresh
  • Location: World Celebration
  • Price: $4.99 (non-alcoholic) or $13.25 (with gin)

Citrus Blossom Beer Flight

ACE Cider Orange Groves Hard Cider, Central 28 Beer Company Grapefruit Pale Ale, BrewDog Brewing Company Five Limes Cerveza

The exact beers (or ciders) available as part of the beer flight tend to differ year from year, but I pretty consistently enjoy trying the ones at the Citrus Blossom booth. You can also get any of these individually if you’re not interested in all of them.

  • Booth: The Citrus Blossom
  • Location: Odyssey Building
  • Price: $12.25

Fruit Cereal Shake

Vanilla soft-serve and fruit-flavored breakfast cereal

Perhaps more for the kids (or kids at heart!), this milkshake tastes exactly like what you’d expect. And hopefully from looking at it, you’d expect it to taste like fruit loops! Nothing fancy here, and it’s very sweet and sugary, but sometimes you just need that little reminder of a sugary breakfast cereal.

  • Booth: Brunchcot
  • Location: by Test Track
  • Price: $5.29

Florida Fresh beer flight

Brewery Ommegang Melon Falls Watermelon Kolsch, Orange Blossom Brewing Co. Starlight Papaya Pilsner, Crooked Can Brewing Company Fiori di Limone Lager

I’m a big craft beer fan, and this is the perfect flight for Flower and Garden Festival. It has light, fruity flavors that were very refreshing. My favorite was the watermelon kolsch – I’m a big fan of Brewery Ommegang, and they do a great job with this one. The papaya pilsner was okay, but a little underwhelming for me. The Fiori di Limone Lager is new this year, so I haven’t tried that one (it was a strawberry shortcake ale last year).

  • Booth: Florida Fresh
  • Location: World Celebration
  • Price: $12.75

Lemon-Elderflower Float

Lemon sorbet and Central 28 Beer Company Elderflower Pale Ale

I love the opportunity to try more unique things, so I had to try this beer-sorbet float! (I also wasn’t sure if I should put it until food or drinks, but I went with drinks because I think there are fewer contenders for top 10 drinks). If you’re not feeling the float you can get the elderflower ale by itself, but the lemon sorbet is really good too. The flavors worked so well together, and it was a really refreshing and tart treat. My only complaint was that it was almost too big and filling, so I had trouble finishing it all!

  • Booth: Swirled Showcase
  • Location: near Refreshment Port
  • Price: $12.50

Honey-Peach Cobbler Freeze

with blueberry vodka and streusel

Pretty much everything I’ve had at Honey Bee-stro anytime I’ve been has been amazing. This is a refreshing frozen drink. You can also get it without the blueberry vodka, but I love the peach, honey, and blueberry flavors together!

  • Booth: Honey Bee-stro
  • Location: Culinary Corridor
  • Price: $13.25 with blueberry vodka ($5.29 non-alcoholic)

Flower and Garden Festival food and drink graveyard

Although this post is updated for 2026, it sometimes pains me to delete items that are no longer available which I once loved! So I’m working on a separate post to share my “Flower and Garden Festival food and drink graveyard.”

There I will pay homage to some of my favorites from Festivals past – like the Tupelo Honey and Sweet Corn Spoon Bread and the Fried Green Tomatoes with Blue Crab-Fennel Salad.

And you never know, maybe they’ll make a comeback someday! If the candied strawberries can come back in some form after being gone since 2018, there’s hope they could return.

Great overview! Other than the Frushi, I don’t think I had any of these on my trip. There are always so many choices and not enough stomach space. LOL Thanks! -Andrea

My mouth is watering! I always say that the more words it takes to describe a recipe, the better chance that I will enjoy it, haha. Some of these are real winners in that category, like the honey mascarpone cheesecake. Hello! I also really love the sound of the papas cakes. For a drink, the passion fruit margarita looks delicious. These festivals are always so much fun, even if I am just reading about them!
