How to make the popular Strawberry Soup recipe at 1900 Park Fare at home:
The menu at 1900 Park Fare has changed many times throughout the year, but one thing has stayed consistent – the strawberry soup.
It’s so popular that they actually have it on the buffet at both breakfast and dinner. And really, it works for both meals! It’s yogurt and fruit based, so you could call it breakfast. And it’s sweet so it makes for a nice dessert too.
Thanks to Pinterest, I’ve been able to find a number of Disney recipes that I’ve made or would like to make someday. I’ve tried many Disney recipes now, but the strawberry soup was one of the earliest that I made. And it’s still delicious!
The recipe I used was originally found on the DIS Boards, but I’ve adapted it slightly to what I found made the best soup for me. The major alterations I made were that I used fresh strawberries instead of frozen, and I added a little more sugar than the original recipe called for (it tasted too “yogurt-y” to me at first, plus I like things sweet!) If you want to make it yourself I’m here to share the strawberry soup recipe with you!
Notes for this strawberry soup recipe:
- At 1900 Park Fare they serve the strawberry soup on the buffet in small bowls. This recipe makes a pretty large amount! So just keep that in mind. Of course, the strawberry soup makes for some great leftovers, but I would only keep it for a few days.
- You may need to vary the amount of sugar based on the natural sweetness of your strawberries, and your own personal tastes.
- I like to save some fresh strawberries as a garnish. You don’t need to, but I find it adds to the soup. Whipped cream would be good too!

Is that served all day? We are doing a character breakfast there on the honeymoon and the strawberry soup sounds tastey 😉
I’m pretty sure it is! We also did the character breakfast on our honeymoon and that’s when I tried it, but I know people have mentioned getting it at dinner too 🙂
That looks yummy Becky!! Thanks for sharing the recipe, I will have to try it. I have never had it at DW before, but this looks very doable at home! Nice 🙂

Thanks for sharing the recipe. It is one of my favorites at the 1900 Park Fare buffet.
It’s definitely a highlight of that buffet!
This looks like a great summer soup for a hot day! I haven’t had it at Disney, but maybe I should next time we go. 🙂
I’m dairy free so unfortunately I can’t try this recipe but maybe I could try to make it dairy free!
That would definitely be a good thing to try – dairy can sometimes bother me too so I’d love another alternative!
