I love cooking, baking, and mixing drinks in the fall. The flavors of pumpkin, cinnamon, and apple are all right up my alley and I can’t get enough of them this time of year! The same is true when I’m lucky enough to visit Disney during the autumn season. Food is always one of my favorite things about traveling to Disney, but even if I can’t get there I love that there are plenty of fall Disney recipes I can make myself at home.
While I haven’t had the chance to try all of these recipes yet, I’ve made a number of them! There are plenty of desserts and sweets, but also a few savory dishes and drinks as well.
Let’s take a look at the best fall Disney recipes from the theme parks:
Spiced Pumpkin Waffle Sundae
Found at Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom, a place known for its waffles adds an autumn twist with pumpkin spice. Once you add ice cream and toppings, how can you go wrong? Find the recipe from Magical Recipes here.
Joffrey’s Pumpkin Pie Frappe
While I know many Starbucks fans were happy when the chain opened in the parks, I will always prefer Joffrey’s. Their coffee is excellent and I love their specialty drinks. During the fall you can grab their pumpkin pie frappe (or latte if you want it hot), which uses their pumpkin pie creme brulee coffee. Find the recipe from Joffrey’s here.
Halloween Rice Krispies Treats
Rice krispies treats are a classic at Disney World, and you can get them dipped in all sorts of goodies and in fun Disney shapes. During Halloween you might find Jack Skellington, candy corn, or Mickey with Halloween colors. Find the recipe from Disney in your Day here.
Butternut Squash soup
Fall doesn’t just have to mean pumpkins! Butternut squash is another great autumn ingredient. Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge has a variety of soups on their buffet, and the butternut squash soup is a favorite. Find the recipe at All Ears here.
Pumpkin twists
There are a few places in Disneyland that sell these twists with different flavors, including Maurice’s Treats. During the fall you can find pumpkin ones! Find the recipe from the Disney Parks Blog here.
Sweet potato pancakes
If sweet potatoes are more your thing, try them for breakfast with these sweet potato pancakes. This recipe comes from the Wave and these are a big hit. Find the recipe from Disney in your Day here.
Pumpkin Beignets
Beignets are very popular in Disneyland, California, and they do seasonal flavors. Pumpkin beignets are available at the Mint Julep Bar, Cafe Orleans, and Club 33. Find the recipe from Inside the Magic here.
Mickey Halloween cinnamon roll
This one is perfect for fall with the decorations and icing – it tastes like a traditional cinnamon roll but it looks spooky! Find the recipe from Inside the Magic here.
Chocolate cake with whiskey caramel sauce
While this dessert is actually served during the Flower and Garden festival, it’s perfect for some cozy fall baking. Chocolate, caramel, and whiskey all seem like the perfect combination when things are getting cooler. Find the recipe from Disney in your Day here.
Gone Apple Picking Gin and Tonic
If you want to treat yourself to a fall themed adult beverage, Disney Springs is the place to look. The Spanish restaurant Jaleo features a gin and tonic with apple flavors. Find the recipe from WDW Magazine here.
