Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto Review

Last updated April 29, 2015 by Becky Leave a Comment

On this past trip to Disney, I got the chance to visit Trader Sam’s with a friend.  We arrived from the Magical Express to Pop Century around 5, and then hopped a bus to the Magic Kingdom where we took the monorail over to the Polynesian.  We checked in to Trader Sam’s around 6, […]

Non-traditional things to do outside of the parks

Last updated July 27, 2021 by Becky 12 Comments

Sometimes you’re in Disney and you don’t have a park day planned – maybe it’s your arrival or departure day, or maybe you just scheduled in an easier rest day.  What can you do if you’re not going into the parks?  Aside from the water parks and shopping at Disney Springs, there are tons of […]

My Disney “must eat” list

Last updated April 9, 2015 by Becky 3 Comments

When it comes to Disney, one of my favorite things is food.  Whether it’s a quick snack or a fancy sit down meal, I love all that the parks have to offer.  I religiously read the Disney Food Blog, and pin items I want to try on future visits.  But I thought it might be […]

DVC Villas at the Grand Floridian

Last updated April 9, 2015 by Becky Leave a Comment

On my last trip to Disney in October, I was lucky enough to stay in the newest DVC units at the Grand Floridian (newest until the ones at the Poly opens, anyway!).  These are housed in a separate building from the main Grand building, just a short walk away. When you enter the building you are […]

The signature resorts restaurant tournament winner is…

Last updated April 9, 2015 by Becky Leave a Comment

It was down to Jiko and Ohana.  Both are great restaurants with a lot to offer, and both are extremely popular.  But only one could be crowned the winner.  After an extremely close vote, the closest we’ve ever had, the winner is…

Signature resort restaurants – Final round

Last updated December 19, 2014 by Becky 1 Comment

We’re down to the last two in this restaurant tournament!  It was insanely close between the last two match ups – both of them were decided by just one or two votes.  While Victoria and Albert’s is probably technically the best restaurant on the list, I’m not surprised it didn’t quite make the cut just […]

Signature Restaurants Resorts Tournament – Round 3

Last updated December 8, 2014 by Becky 1 Comment

It’s down to only 4 restaurants left – and they’re all pretty outstanding in my opinion!  Hard to choose a favorite, but that’s what this is all about.  So tell me, out of these match-ups, which are your favorites?  Jiko or California Grill?  Ohana or Victoria and Alberts? (Two totally different places, for sure!) Let […]

Signature Resorts Restaurant Tournament – Round 2

Last updated November 25, 2014 by Becky 2 Comments

The votes from the first week are in – did your favorites make the cut to the next round?  There were some pretty close match ups, especially between Narcoossee’s and Yachtsman!  But here we have our top 8. This week we have some even more difficult match ups, so make sure you vote for your […]

Signature Resort Restaurants Tournament – Round 1

Last updated November 12, 2014 by Becky 4 Comments

It’s finally time for another restaurant tournament!  This time it’s the signature restaurants at the resorts.  I have a feeling this one is going to be really tough, because there are just so many good ones!  This tournament will actually include both signature and character dining at the resorts.  We’ve taken care of most of […]

Art of Animation resort review

Last updated January 8, 2018 by Becky 1 Comment

I have been lucky enough to stay at Disney’s newest resort twice – the Art of Animation resort.  This is classified as a “value” resort, but unlike many of the other values, they consist of mostly suites.  If you’re not familiar with the resort, it’s broken up into four sections: Cars, the Lion King, […]

About Me

Hi, I'm Becky!

I'm a huge Disney fan in my early 30's and always trying to find a way to put a little bit of Disney into everyday life. I live in Pennsylvania but travel to the theme parks several times a year - I'm an annual passholder at Disney World! In addition to Disney I love traveling, running, and theater.
