March tournament – Disney+ TV shows, round 2

March 14, 2022 by Becky 1 Comment

The first round of the Disney+ TV tournament has come to an end!

Typically round 1 is pretty easy. I attempt to seed the entries in the order that I believe will be most popular (occasionally I’ve proven wrong, but I’m confident in a good number of them). Some of the lesser known shows will now have been eliminated, which means that Round 2 may give us some more difficult choices!

There weren’t too many surprises this time around, though some of the match-ups were closer than I expected. The closest one that surprised me was the World According to Jeff Goldblum vs. One Day at Disney. That was a close one! And the other one that doesn’t surprise as much since it was a hard choice was Falcon and the Winter Soldier vs. Hawkeye. Hawkeye came out on top this time.

Now that we’ve narrowed it down to 16, there are even more difficult choices to be made. I still know how I’m going to vote on most of them, but there are a few that are either tough choices for me or I’m worried they may not make it through the round because I know they aren’t the most “popular” with other people.

A couple in particular that I’m curious to see which way they do include The Imagineering Story vs. the Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom (I loved both of these!), The World According to Jeff Goldblum vs. Behind the Attraction (both are great shows but I’m going with Jeff), Loki vs. WandaVision (an easy choice for me but I know they are both very popular), and Forky Asks a Question vs. Olaf Presents (both are clever, funny shorts). Only time will tell!

So now it’s time: go and cast your votes in round 2!
