It’s time for Round 2 of the Disney Attractions tournament! We’ve narrowed it down to some of the more popular rides, so it’s only going to get more difficult from here. Not that it wasn’t already rather tough in the first place! (In particular I apologize to my friend Kristin on this first match-up. I know they are her top two favorite rides!)
One of the things I loved doing about these sorts of polls is seeing how the results might differ from what I expect to see. Some of the match-ups last round were definitely challenging. It can be hard to compare certain attractions, especially when you have something more modern (like Star Tours) against a more classic attraction (like The Jungle Cruise). I feel like I tend to have an idea for which attractions are more “popular,” but it’s interesting to see by how much.
One that surprised me was Pirates of the Caribbean vs. Peter Pan’s Flight. Both are pretty classic rides, but Pirates won by a fairly decent margin. I thought that one would be a little closer. And Great Movie Ride vs. Frozen Ever After? I was definitely surprised to see Frozen losing! And one of my absolute favorite attractions I know is one that isn’t popular with a ton of other people, so of course it’s already out this round. That would be Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, which lost to 7 Dwarfs Mine Train. I still have most of my top 5 left though, so I’ll be rooting for them as we continue!

Dang! I’m sad I missed the first round! I need to stay more on top of my blog reading!! I love Pirates of the Caribbean. Easily my favorite, so I’ holding out for it to be the winner!

So my votes might be a little skewed since I’m basing my choices off the Disneyland rides, but I love this idea anyway! I have to say I’m shocked Soarin is beating Toy Story and Splash Mountain is beating Tower of Terror!
Hey that’s totally fine! I think those two plus Space Mountain vs. Haunted Mansion were the ones I was most curious about. Splash Mountain is one of my personal favorites (I think our version here in WDW is better than DL) so I’m rooting for it!
