When you visit the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, there’s no shortage of merchandise available. If your trip isn’t until the end of the festival some of the more in demand items may be sold out, but there is one positive: discounts! Since we hit Disney in the beginning of November, the remaining Food and Wine merchandise was 30% off, and then I could use my 20% off AP discount on top of that. So needless to say I had to pick up a few items!
Including, of course, this mug (and the book that I’ll discuss in a bit). This mug is designed to look like a wine barrel, and on the one side it has the Epcot Food and Wine slogan of “taste your way around the world” – which is exactly what we like to do when we’re in Epcot! The opposite side has the logo for Food and Wine as well as the 25th anniversary branding, all in that lovely merlot color.
What’s in my mug: While I love flavored coffees, lately I’ve been playing around with just a basic black coffee from the grocery store but trying different types of creamers. This was mostly because I ended up with a bag that I had to use up and I wanted to make it fun! Right now I am really enjoying a salted caramel creamer.
What I’m currently reading: Another item I picked up while it was on sale is this Disney Festivals cookbook. I am so excited to try so many of these recipes. I love how it’s organized – it has recipes from The Festival of the Arts, Flower and Garden, Epcot Food and Wine, Epcot Festival of the Holidays, California Adventure Food and Wine, and California Adventure Festival of the Holidays. The book is gorgeous and there are so many things I want to try, but I think I’ll be starting with some of the holiday stuff soon!
What mug are you currently using? And what are you reading?
Love the mug! I can’t wait to see what new recipes you try.
Now I’m kicking myself for not buying that book!!
