The mug I’m drinking out of this month is actually my third mug from Disneyland Paris! When I went there in September 2016 I came back with two mugs myself: a general Disneyland Paris mug and a Ratatouille mug. Now I have this third one thanks to my good friends who were stationed over in Germany for awhile and got to visit Disneyland Paris a number of times!
I am very glad they’ve returned home and are now in New Jersey so we can see them more often, but it was really sweet of them to bring me this mug for my birthday this year! They know how much I love both Disney and mugs, so it’s obviously the perfect gift 😉 This one is from the Disneyland Paris 25th anniversary celebration. Their theme focused on sparkling and the stars, and there were a number of different merchandise themes.
This one is the “Discover the Stars” design, which is says on one side of the mug. I really like the colors on this one. They’re subtle and nice without being totally over the top in your face Disney, and the background has an almost steampunk design. It’s a cute font and I like the Discover the Stars logo.
But of course on the other side you do get a dose of Disney with Donald Duck! He’s got a fancy looking telescope that he’s using to discover the stars, as well as two little assistants: Chip and Dale snuck in there! Are they helping or just causing mischief? I think we can probably guess 😉
I also really like when a mug has some details on the inside, which this one does with the “Disneyland Paris 25” logo on top. It’s fun to have designs inside the mug too.
What’s in my cup: So today I want to talk about not the type of coffee I have in my cup, but what creamer I’m using. I’ve been using Natural Bliss for awhile, but I just ran out and I’m not sure I want to get that one again because I’m not sure I particularly want to support Nestle as a company. Half and half is okay. I tried coconut oil this morning and blending it but I don’t love the taste. I’m not doing butter (I know that’s a thing now but I don’t think I can mentally handle that!). So I’m curious – do you drink your coffee black? If not, what’s your sweetener of choice?
What I’m currently reading: With the new movie coming out soon, I figured it was a good time to read the copy of the Fantastic Beasts screenplay that I have! I’ll rewatch the movie before the second one comes out as well, but I like the fact that I can read the script. I tend to pick up on more things when I’m reading rather than watching, so while I’ve only just started reading it I have a feeling I’ll discover some things I missed from the film. I really enjoyed the first movie so I’m excited to see where it goes in November!
What’s in your cup this month? And what are you currently reading?
