Coming at you this month I have yet another Beauty and the Beast mug from my collection! I’m not sure how many I have (I haven’t gone back and counted) but I’m sure it’s a lot. This one is adorable and was a birthday gift from my good friend (and occasional guest blogger) Kristin. She clearly knows me well!
The shape of this mug is unique because it actually looks like it’s a stack of books. Obviously perfect for this book loving librarian! It’s a bunch of books and the handle is the enchanted rose from Beauty and the Beast. One of biggest questions I’m sure people will wonder is: how difficult is it to drink out of a square mug? As it turns out, not too difficult. I honestly didn’t notice much of a difference between this and a regular mug when I had my coffee this morning.
There are a lot of little details on the mug that makes me love it even more. One of the books has a mirror on it, and another has the phrase “Looking for Adventure” on the spine. Considering that my phone case currently has the quote “I want adventure in the great wide somewhere,” I’m a big fan of the mention of adventure here. On the side there is also a bookmark sticking out of one of the books with Belle’s signature on it.
What’s in my mug: I’ve been trying to get my nutrition in better order lately, and I really do think the little things make a difference. So I’m trying to not put a ton of sugar and creamer in my coffee. My favorite alternatives to the heavier things are stevia in place of sugar or another sweetener, and the coconut milk creamer at Trader Joe’s. It’s really tasty and better for you too!
What I’m currently reading: I’m going through the “Drinking at Disney” guidebook and so far it’s awesome! The idea of a guidebook to all of the bars and drinks is cool just by itself, but the way this one is written is really amusing. You feel like you’re getting to know “Drunky” and his editor and the sense of humor is right up my alley. I’m still working my way through it but once I’ve finished the book expect a full blog post about it!
What mug are you using right now? And what are you currently reading?
