As you may have guessed, I have a pretty large Disney mug collection. But one thing that was notably absent from my collection was any sort of Christmas or holiday mug! I was very fortunate that things soon changed. I signed up for a holiday mug swap through one of the blogging groups I’m in and totally lucked out with my partner!
I was matched with Marsha, who blogs at Faith and Fitness with Marsha Apsley. It was awesome getting to know her a little bit through email before we exchanged packages. Not only did she send me the absolute cutest Disney Christmas mug, she also included some cookies, dark chocolate Hershey kisses, and Christmas earrings!
The front of the mug features Mickey and Minnie in their Christmas outfits, riding on a sled (pulled by Pluto of course!). The back of it is just as cute. It says “Warm winter wishes” and it’s surrounded by snowflakes. There is also a poinsettia design on the inside of the mug.
What’s in my cup: Around the holidays, it has to be hot cocoa for me! I love dark chocolate cocoa best, but also anything chocolate and peppermint. Or if it’s while I’m relaxing in the evening I might spike my hot cocoa with a bit of peppermint schnapps or Grand Marnier 😉
What I’m reading: I’ve just started the book Never Never, which is the selection for our January Disney Book club meeting. I’m still at the beginning, but from the back cover it is described as being the story of James Hook and his time in Neverland. It supposedly answers the question of how he grew up and became one of the only adults in all of Neverland. I’ve heard good things so I’m excited to dig into this one!
What’s in your mug this month? And have you read any good books lately?
Very pretty mug!
Thanks, I’m a big fan!
Such a cute mug! I love the shape of it too. That book sounds really good. Can’t wait to hear what you think of it. And peppermint schnapps sounds really good in coffee!
I like the shape of it too, I like those round mugs, they are good for holding and warming your hands!
That is the cutest Christmas mug ever! I love it. It sounds like you got a lot of really awesome goodies in your mug swap!
I really lucked out with the mug swap!
First off, one can never have too many Disney mugs. I use one of my collection every day I am home and get to drink from a real mug. Secondly- another Peter Pan book?!?! My 15 year old adores Peter Pan, so this is getting added to her list- as a teacher each of the kids gets a book from mom/Aunt Sarah. Let’s host an online Disney book club?!?
My cousins always get books too since I’m a librarian 😉 I actually tried to host an online Disney book club a few years ago but it wasn’t getting much participation so I stopped. I’d love to do it again though if people were interested!
I thought of you when we started decorating our Christmas tree as we have so many Disney ornaments! Ironically, we don’t own any Disney mugs.
Haha, my husband said next year we might get a second tree just to be the “Disney tree” – that’s how many Disney ornaments we have!
That mug is adorable! but that book sound amazing! peter pan is one of my all time favorite stories!

Peter Pan is such a great story, I can’t wait to read another take on it!
I’m so glad you liked the mug! I was thrilled to find it and send it to you! Merry Christmas! (It was really hard not to order 2 and keep one for myself 😉 )
Yes, it’s perfect – thank you again! I hope you have a great holiday!
I REALLY want that mug, I saw it in a WDW haul and now I NEED it. I’m hoping I can find one at my Disney store.

I hope you can find it too, it’s adorable!
