I think I’ve decided that Flower and Garden is my favorite time of year at Disney. The weather is nice, Epcot is gorgeous, and they have tons of great food offerings. I’ve now been twice, in 2013 and 2015, and here are the highlights of what we enjoyed:
Topiaries:
They have some really beautiful Disney inspired topiaries on display, mostly throughout the World Showcase. They are incredibly well done and a ton of fun to look at and explore. A lot of them are the same year to year, but there are always a couple of new ones to check out if you’ve been before.
Food booths:
For me this is the real highlight, and I enjoy these food booths even more than the ones at Food and Wine, to be honest. They have delicious, fruit and veggie inspired dishes that I just really enjoy. I plan to have a full review of all the foods I tried this year coming soon!
Festival center:
There’s lots here you can check out if you’re interested in flowers and gardening, including special presentations that sometimes take place on the weekends. Plus you’ll find lots of Flower and Garden merchandise, which is especially great if you have a garden and want to add a Disney touch to it.
Butterfly house:
Walk through here to see lots of butterflies flying around and enjoying the flowers. It’s fun to go through and doesn’t take too much time out of your day.
While it may not seem like much, the atmosphere and beauty of the Flower and Garden festival really just makes me love Epcot, and especially the World Showcase, even more than usual. I highly recommend attending this event!

I remember when we went — it was great!
You and Daddy have to come back again sometime with us – maybe for Flower and Garden, or in the fall for Food and Wine!
