Best drinks in Disney World

Best drinks at Walt Disney World

Disney World: it’s not just for kids.  Adults can have an amazing time at Disney too, and one thing they can enjoy that the kids can’t is the wide variety of adult beverages available.  Alcohol is served in all of the theme parks (with the exception of the Magic Kingdom, where you can only get it at Be Our Guest restaurant) and the resorts.  Like everything, Disney is really creative when it comes to drinks and there are so many great ones.  Here are just a few of my favorites.

Grand Marnier Slush – Found in France, this delicious drink is an orange flavored slushie with Grand Marnier in it.  So good.  And if you’re not a big fan of the orange flavor, you can also get a lemon flavored Grey Goose slush.

Margaritas – they are probably the most expensive margaritas I’ve ever come across, but the ones at La Cava del Tequila in Epcot’s Mexico pavilion are definitely good.  They have a huge menu with tons of flavors to choose from.  My favorites so far have been the passion fruit and the blood orange.

Drinks at Trader Sam’s – Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto has tons of fun drinks with tropical flavors.  Plus, many of them cause “interactive” things to happen in the bar.  And they come in super fun souvenir glasses!  My favorite is the Polynesian Pearl, but everything I’ve tried there has been fantastic!

Lapu Lapu – speaking of tropical drinks, you can’t beat a good mix of rum and fruit juices that’s actually served in a pineapple.  You can get this one at the Polynesian.

JamJar Sweet Shiraz – This has become our favorite wine.  It’s a South African wine which means you’ll find it at Animal Kingdom Lodge ( we had it at Jiko).  It’s a pretty sweet red wine and different from many others that I’ve tasted.

Rosa Regale – another sweet red wine, this one is a sparkling beverage.  You can find it in Epcot’s Italy pavilion, as well as other places around the property.

Victoria Falls Mist – I absolutely love the atmosphere at the Victoria Falls Lounge in Animal Kingdom Lodge, and they have some great specialty drinks too.  My favorite that I’ve tried is the Victoria Falls Mist, which combines tangerine, melon, and banana liqueurs with sprite.

Conjurita – At the newest bar on Disney property, Abracadabar, this tastes mostly like a typical margarita.  However, it’s very fun because the drink changes color right at the table!

Have you enjoyed a drink at Disney World?  Which is your favorite?

Haha well that’s okay – Disney does have a lot of really tasty non-alcoholic drinks too!

I would love to – but I need to go back to Disneyland and try more of the drinks! 😉

I’m not a huge drinker, but Lapu Lapu sounds delicious! I also like red wine so Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz would be awesome too!

Quite an important post for when I go to Disney. Are they super expensive though? That’s always my fear whenever I go out.

I guess it depends on what you consider expensive, haha. Everything is more expensive in Disney. I’d say most of the alcoholic drinks range from around $8-12. Some of the beers and wines are less.

Yum! These all sound delicious! Until I started reading your blog, I didn’t realize they sold alcohol at Disney. I’ll definitely be trying some of these when we finally make our trip.

Yup, all the parks have alcohol except the Magic Kingdom! (there it’s only served in Be Our Guest restaurant).

I’ll take one of each please! Pinning for my future Disney World trip! I have heard that at Disney World you’re not allowed to have drinks while you wait in line? Please tell me that’s just a rumor!

I’m not 100% sure on their policy. I’ve had coffee while in line before and no one ever said anything, I just make sure to finish it before I get on the ride!

I’ve never been to disney as an adult, but this may be a factor in convincing my husband we should visit! That wine sounds amazing
