I’m a little late in getting my post up about the past week, but better late than never, right? I’m glad that I was able to get all my runs in this past week, because we were on vacation Wednesday-Monday! But I managed to squeeze in two runs while we were away. One in the evening in the hotel’s fitness center, and another in the morning running through beautiful Colonial Williamsburg. It was a really nice place to run!
On Monday I was still home and went for a morning run. It was better than I expected to do, considering I hadn’t felt well on Sunday and then got really sick (maybe food poisoning?) on Monday night.
Thursday’s run was on the treadmill at the hotel. I’m not a big fan of the treadmill, mostly because I have a hard time pushing myself on it. I get comfortable at a speed and find it difficult to push myself faster. Especially when I have to play around with all the controls constantly since I use a run/walk method.
Saturday morning was a really nice day, and it was so pleasant to jog down in Williamsburg! My time was decent even though I was getting a blister, which was really annoying me. Our hotel was close enough that I could jog down to the historic area and jog there – which was great because no cars are allowed on that road! Lots of other joggers, cyclists, and people walking their dogs.
