It’s been cold around here for so long that I never thought the time would come where I could wear dresses and short sleeves – but now we’ve got a heat wave going on here in Pennsylvania and I was super excited to get some new summer clothes in my latest Stitch Fix! Â I got some really cute things this time around and this month is probably the most indecisive I’ve been on what to keep! Â I actually don’t have to check out until tomorrow, so maybe you can help me figure out what to keep…
If you’re not familiar, Stitch Fix is a subscription box service that has you fill out a style profile survey, and then they send you 5 clothing items to try on – you decide what to keep and what to send back!
Skies are Blue Dyllan Cold Shoulder Dress – $78
This is the only thing I know I am 100% keeping. Â For whatever reason I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it in the box. Â The pattern is so “me” lots of bright colors and fun stuff going on. Â Jason thought it was too busy, but my response to him was “I’M busy!” Â I had asked from some cold shoulder options and I’m really happy with this one.
Skies are Blue Peverell Cold Shoulder Top – $54
This one was another one a little bit out of my comfort zone with the big ruffle. Â Jason felt it was very “hippie,” and he’s probably right, but maybe I like that style? Â It’s very comfortable and fits well. Â I just worry it’s one of those things that I like how it looks in theory, but I’m not sure I’d have the guts to wear it often.
Market and Spruce Elaine Ikat Print Pocket-Front Knit Shirt – $44
The shirt itself in terms of the style is very simple and straight forward, but I’m a fan. Â I like the print and colors a lot, and how it goes well with my $8 yellow shorts from Primark! Â It’s also very soft and comfy, so I’m leaning towards keeping this one.
THMLÂ Jaye Cutout Shoulder Top – $44
I’m not sure how IÂ feel about this one! Â I think it’s a little boring for my tastes if it wasn’t for the shoulder cut-outs, which are kind of cool. Â I’m just not sure it does much for me? Â The pattern and colors aren’t very “me” either.
Fate Portola Lace Detail Blouse – $48
This would be the shirt I’m probably most on the fence about. Â I really like the color and the lace detail on top. Â I feel like it would be versatile enough to go with a lot of things. Â My only concern is that it’s just a little tight in the back. Â Not really in the front oddly, just on my back. Â I’ve also kind of spent a lot of money recently so I’m not sure that this top is worth the price for me right now. Â The detailing is really cute though!
I think my stylist Julie did an amazing job picking out stuff for me again this month.  If you’re interested in signing up for your own Fix, I would love it if you’d use my referral link – it would give me a $25 credit to use on a future fix, and doesn’t cost you anything. I used a friend’s link when I signed up for mine so I could help her out, so I know it’s much appreciated!

What do you think I should keep, and what should I send back? Â Help me decide!
All of those tops are so cute so I understand why you’re having a touch time deciding which one to keep. I personally really like the blue lace one, but I find if things don’t fit quite right one tends to not wear it all that often. The pink print shirt is also really cute though so I think you should go with that 🙂
Yeah that’s my biggest concern – I’m working on cleaning out my closet and there’s some cute things in there but I don’t wear them often enough because I’m very picky on how they fit! But no complaints on the pink shirt so I’m going to keep that 🙂
That fix is worth it just for the dress! I also love the Ikat tee on you. The three others are nice… but just not as amazing as those two are, in my opinion. 🙂
Thanks – those were my thoughts too! I had asked for mostly tops this fix but I’m so glad she sent the dress too because I love it!
I love the dress and I love the lace top! I think everything is looks great on you.
Thanks so much! I’m leaning towards both of those.
Definitely keep that dress! It looks perfect on you. The blue lace top is gorgeous, but if you don’t 100% like the way it fits, most likely you won’t wear it. I have tops that don’t fit quite right that I really need to get rid of. You look so cute!!
Thank you! The dress is for sure a keeper. I’m on the fence with the blue top – I have a friend who *might* be interested in buying it from me so I think what i’m going to do is keep it and then if she wants it I’ll sell it to her, and if not I’ll just keep it for myself.
I love that lace blouse!
It is really pretty!
Everything looks great on you! I actually like the THML top on you! 🙂
Thank you! I kind of liked the shoulder cut-outs on that top but something about the pattern and style doesn’t feel very “me”!
I’m loving the blue lace top, but these are all great options. The cut-out detail on the shoulder is such a great feature!

Thanks – I agree, I like the cut-out shoulder look and I’m glad I requested it 🙂
I really like the dress — it looks a bit like something Eastern, rather like a batik. I love the blue lace top but I don’t think you should get it, as it doesn’t fit or feel right, so you’ll probably never wear it. I don’t think the THML top is “you.” I’m on the fence about the Skies Are Blue top, but if you’re hesitant about wearing it, then it’s better not to get it. The other top is nice but rather pricey for what it is.
Yes, I thought that too when I saw the dress. I like how unique the pattern is.
That top with the shoulder cutouts is so cute!

Thanks, it was a really cute fix!
I love the dress (keep it!) and your stylist nailed the shoulder cutouts. I personally love the blue and lace top. The color goes really well with your skin tone!
Yes my stylist did an awesome job! I’m always clueless about what colors I look best in so that’s good to know 😉
I love Fate Portola Lace Detail Blouse on you! Everything about it is a huge yes for me, so I say keep it!
Thanks, I just might keep it!
I love the lace blouse!
It has such gorgeous detail!
I love the last blouse…I say keep. Great color and cut. I also like the print t-shirt. Super cute on you, and I think you could wear it a lot. Love the dress too!
I think I will get a lot of use out of the print t-shirt. My work place is casual enough that I can wear it there with nice pants, and then it works for just wearing all the time!
The last top would be perfect for Disney bounding!
You’re right – every time I see a solid colored clothing item I start thinking about which characters it could represent, haha!
I actually love the last top! I think #2 and #4 might be the ones I would send back, seems that they sent you a lot of open-shoulder looks and if you’re keen on the first one (which you should be because it’s AWESOME) then sending back #2 would keep your wardrobe diverse 🙂
What a cool subscription service. I’m also happy it’s finally warm!

I’m thinking that’s exactly what I’ll do – keeping 1, 3, and 5 🙂
I think this is the first stitch fix review I’ve read that had the prices listed. I didn’t realize that this stuff was that price point. You got a lot of good selections. I would probably keep the 1st and last item.
I always try to list the prices because I find it so helpful when I read other reviews. I hate it when I see a dress or top I love on someone else’s blog only to request it and find out it’s $150!
Yes! Exactly!
