I am so excited to bring you the very first review and giveaway from our Disney Runner’s Gear Guide!  Today we are featuring a fabulous shop called Running on the Wall.  Though they feature a number of running items, the real highlight of what they offer is fun ways to display your medals and bibs!  They have all sorts of types, but there’s a great selection of Disney related sayings and slogans, in Disney font.  Perfect for your Run Disney medals!

One of the things I love best about their selection is the different varieties of holders they have.  You can get a typical medal holder, which has hooks on it to display your medals.  Or you can get a combo medal holder and bib holder – and for those there are two options – a bigger one with the bibs displayed on the side and the medals on the bottom, or one that features the bibs with a row of hooks for medals below it.  There’s even one that has room for a picture as well, if there’s a race photo you particularly love.

Running on the Wall was kind enough to send me several items for review.  The first thing I looked at was the medal holder.  These are definitely sturdy, made of wood and painted in lots of fun colors (you can choose which color you like when you order from their website!)  The hooks come in a bag for you to put on yourself, but there are holes pre-drilled and they are super easy to just screw in.  And then you’re ready to put your medals on!  My one Enchanted 10k medal looks a little lonely, but hopefully it will have friends soon!

I also took a look at the bib holder.  Though I didn’t screw in the hooks yet, I can tell this one will be just as good as the first one.  It’s made of the same sort of wood, but it’s bigger to hold race bibs.  One thing that I like is the fact that it’s wide enough to hold all sorts of bibs, since they can come in different sizes.  And there are two sets of holes for the hooks for the bibs – that way you can adjust it based on what size you have.  And there’s a nice row at the bottom for your medals!  (Also note that in my picture, those small marks that look like scuffs are actually cat hairs – if you have cats you know that anything black cannot escape having cat hairs on it!)
