Need some Disney magic right now? Try Gifts from Mickey!

March 18, 2020 by Becky 4 Comments

Are you sitting at home right now, wishing you could be in the Disney theme parks? You’re probably like a lot of us right now, wondering how long we’ll be mostly inside and going a little stir-crazy. Maybe you had a trip coming up and now you’re not sure when you’ll get back. While many of us miss the Disney theme parks, there’s still some ways to bring Disney magic to you at home.

Enter Gifts from Mickey, a Disney subscription box company. They have a wide range of boxes for all price points, as well as themed boxes (like one with just snacks, one with coffee/mugs, etc.). It’s the perfect thing right now to add a little extra magic to your day – especially as things might seem a little gloomy or anxieties might be high.

I love subscription boxes, but I think Gifts from Mickey may be my favorite. Everything I get in my box is really great – there’s so many high quality items and things that I love. Plus I really appreciate how much they include that’s new. It’s not just random stuff from outlet stores or anything, it items currently available and popular in the theme parks.

And right now they are offering 10% off just for readers of Disney in your Day! The discount is 10% with a minimum purchase of $50.00 and excludes elongated coins and personal shopping. Valid until April 30th, 2020. Use code YFXP2A6D.

Coupon Code: YFXP2A6D

Let’s take a look at the box I received just last week!

If you know me at all, you’ll know my excitement was heard all throughout the house when I took this Flower and Garden Orange Bird backpack out of the box. I LOVE all things orange bird, and Flower and Garden is probably my favorite time to be in Epcot. It seems like this backpack was made for me and I’m thrilled to have it. Hopefully the parks will be open again by Memorial Day weekend when I have a trip planned and I can use it then.

Another new and exciting item was this Skyliner popcorn bucket. I love seeing all of the different popcorn buckets they offer at Disney but I don’t usually get them because they’re kind of pricey. This one is so cute though and I’m excited to have it. I love all of the skyliner merch.

A few other Flower and Garden festival items were in the box as well. There was an orange bird cup, which of course is immediately something I love. And also these reusable silicone straws. I’ve been trying to use more reusable straws (and other things that aren’t one-time use) so I’ll take advantage of these – they are super cute which motivates me even more!

Another item I was thrilled to see was this Minnie Mouse Alex and Ani bracelet. I’m a big fan of their bracelets (I probably own about 7 or 8 myself), and this is a cute new one. It has a classic Minnie Mouse in her blue polka dot outfit.

There was one edible items in this box too – a giant Mickey Mouse cookie. I can tell you this definitely travels well because it was not only still in one piece when I got it, it was absolutely delicious. It was so big I had it as my breakfast for 3 days. Yes, I had cookie for breakfast because right now in the world sometimes that’s what you need to do.

Finally, there was something that seemed pretty unique in this box. They’re called Pieces of Magic, and they’re basically little trinkets with inspirational words on them like “courage,” “dream,” and “wish.” The cool thing is that they’re actually made from old attractions! So I really like the idea of just having one in my purse, or on my desk, etc., for that little bit of extra inspiration.

I love that Gifts from Mickey always includes the most recent park maps and brochures as well. It makes me feel like I know what’s going on and I can stay up to date on what’s happening in the parks. Of course this box had all things Flower and Garden festival – I got an Epcot park map, the Flower and Garden Festival passport, and the “tea tour” in the UK pavilion.

I feel like at this time a Gifts from Mickey subscription box is just what I need to keep some positivity and magic in my day. If you’re feeling the same way, I highly recommend Gifts from Mickey for a little treat!

Which item in this box do you like the most?

This does seem like a nice box. How big is the backpack? As soon as I saw it I knew you would love it.
