Just in case there weren’t enough presents from Christmas, my Mickey Monthly subscription box came right around the holidays, so it was a lovely little treat to myself! You can always use more Disney gifts, right?
You can see my post on how I customized my box in this post (and used the discount DISDAY to get 20% off!). But for the basics I ordered the Mickey sized theme park box, which comes with anywhere from 2-6 items. I chose a combination of snacks and souvenirs, ages 18+, and gender neutral.
With the Mickey sized box you are said to get 2-6 items, but I’ve noticed most of the time it’s been 1 edible item and 2 souvenirs. I’d rather get a few nicer things than small little toys and stuff, so this works out pretty well! The snack item of this box was Mickey shaped chocolate coconut patties. I’ve had these before and they are definitely a favorite, so I was excited to see them! Also fun story, my husband saw them out on the table and said, “When did I get you these for Christmas? Where did I get them?” I had to explain to him he wasn’t the only one giving me Disney gifts 😉

My first souvenir item was a 2019 calendar with photos from the parks. I use several calendars around the house and at work, and I always end up being gifted at least a few. But they will get used! This one will go in my office/blogging studio, since it obviously fits in quite well with the Disney theme.
The other souvenir item I received was a Mickey baking mold. While cooking isn’t my favorite I do love to bake, and I’m sure this will come in handy for something! I have enough Disney themed parties and whatnot that I intend to use this to whip up something delicious.
My Thoughts Overall
Quality of items – There was a nice assortment of items this time. I love coconut and chocolate so that was a big win for me. I do really enjoy baking and I don’t have any sort of Mickey shaped pan so I know I can make use of this. The calendar wasn’t necessarily something I needed (I have at least one other calendar already and a planner for 2019) but it is something I will still use!
Value – A box of 12 of the coconut patties is $16. This package contains 2. Given that they probably discount a larger box, I would guess the coconut patties package is about $4.99. The calendar is $19.99 and the baking mold is $19.99. So all told you’re looking at about $45, which is a great value!
