Blog Updates
I feel like I say this every month, but I seriously don’t know what happened to April. It disappeared in about two seconds… leaving me feeling like I didn’t get a lot done this month. But there’s always a new month to try again!
In terms of the blog, pageviews are up slightly from March so that’s good at least. I’m hoping to have some exciting content later this month, since I’ll be in Disney World mid-May! I’m sure I’ll have lots to share when I come back. I also have my Disneyland Paris trip sneaking up on me (that’s in September) so I may have some planning posts about that as well. Finally, I’ve registered for the Disney World marathon in January so my training for that will start in July, which I’ll be sharing about on the blog as well.
April Goals
Like I said, not sure I accomplished anywhere near what I hoped to for April, but it was a very busy month for me personally.
- FINISH EDITING E-BOOK (still no, I’ve only got done about 25 pages out of 80)
- add popular posts to side bar (nope)
- Reach 2,000 Pinterest followers (yes! I’m up to 2,041!)
- Reach 825 instagram followers (just barely snuck in this one, at 829 followers)
- Do at least one collaboration post with a fellow blogger (still haven’t done it but I’ve discussed opportunities with a few bloggers!)
- Successfully perform my role in Anything Goes – with confidence! (yes, we are at closing weekend coming up!)
- Read at least 4 books (not quite – I got through two books, three if you count a Paris travel guidebook)
- Run outside 3x a week (not 3x a week but I at least got outside a little more often to run. April weather has been terrible!)
- Audition for my next play (the musical Catch me if you Can) (yes, and got in to the ensemble – rehearsals just started this week!
- Organize my desk/work area (not even a little).
May Blog Goals
- Finish editing e-book (this isn’t leaving my list till I do it)
- add popular posts to the side bar
- Continue discussing collaboration opportunities with bloggers
- Reach 1,750 facebook followers
May Personal Goals
- Go through my closet and get rid of/donate things I don’t wear
- Organize desk/work area
- Take some actual time to relax
- Start planning my next murder mystery party
How much did you get accomplished this month?
Yeah, April did go by quickly! Have fun when you visit here!
And you’re going to Disneyland Paris also? Lucky!
Thanks! And yes, Disneyland Paris in September 🙂
Love this! I totally need to get in the habit of sharing my monthly goals. It’s such a good act in accountability!

It really does help to keep me accountable!
I’m so excited to read all about your upcoming trips, Becky! They’re always so fun. If you ever want to collab, let me know! My blog is shifting to a more general lifestyle blog, so we might be able to work something out… maybe along the book front! We could read a Disney-related book. 🙂
I would absolutely love to work on some sort of collab with you! There are tons of great Disney books out there – any that you’ve been interested in reading?
Nice. You’ve got such exciting stuff lined up! April did go by super fast, and I feel like I didn’t have a chance to rest either. I am definitely with you on the closet. I have so much stuffed jammed in there, and I need to purge.
Yeah, my closet is getting more crazy every day!
Congratulations with everything you accomplished in April. I totally agree that the month flew by. I can’t believe it’s almost summer! Good luck this month 🙂
LiveLifeWell,
Allison
Thanks so much Allison!
Just reading about all you’ve done makes me tired!
Me too – I need a nap!
Great job on accomplishing some of your goals last month! That is so awesome that you have a trip coming up to Paris!! How exciting. I also am trying to read more. I actually started a book…now lets see how long it takes me to finish it. I also need to put a poplar post on my side bar. Relaxing is such a great thing to do. I hope you get some time to do that soon. Good luck with your goals this month!
Thanks! I’m kind of in the same spot as you with reading – I have a book I started but I’m just not feeling the urge to pick it up often, which makes it tough!
