Blog Updates
I was able to visit Disney World for a long weekend at the end of May, which always gives me lots of new content that I’m excited to share with all of you! Â In terms of the blog itself pageviews were down a bit during May from what they were in April which is kind of a bummer.
However, I do have some exciting news – I joined a community of Disney bloggers called the Magical Blograil. Â They do loops of Disney-related posts on a similar topic several times a month so I’m looking forward to joining in. Â It will be a great way for some of you to discover new Disney blogs, and hopefully get some more readers here on my blog!
May Goals
Here’s how I did with the goals I set for May:
- Finish editing e-book (this isn’t leaving my list till I do it) – (I didn’t finish but I made a lot of progress – more than halfway through!)
- add popular posts to the side bar (nope. I’m just a slacker I guess)
- Continue discussing collaboration opportunities with bloggers (yes! Â I have a couple of guest posts brewing that should be shared this month!)
- Reach 1,750 facebook followers (not quite, I’m at 1,721)
- Go through my closet and get rid of/donate things I don’t wear (I started this process, still have to finish it!)
- Organize desk/work area (no)
- Take some actual time to relax  (A little bit.  Particularly enjoyed myself at Disney!)
- Start planning my next murder mystery party  (Yes! Got a date and people on the invite list, now just need to put everything together and plan food/decorations!)
June Blog Goals
- Finish editing e-book (this isn’t leaving my list till I do it)
- add popular posts to the side bar
- Order new business cards to prepare for Blogger Bash
- Share guest posts
June personal goals
- Learn the dances and songs for my current show
- Complete the run streak I’m doing (run every day from Memorial Day to the 4th of July)
- Not let the stress of work get to me
- Eat healthier and hopefully lose about 5 pounds
- Create an itinerary for Europe trip and make sure most things are in order
How was your May? Â What are you planning for June?
Love your goals! Its so important to write things down and hold yourself accountable. I just recently started writing my goals down and it has made a huge difference!
I agree – especially when I share them on my blog, then I know I not only have myself holding me accountable, but other people too!
What a great list! I’m hoping to make it up for Blogger Bash but not sure if I’ll make it or not. I need to get back on track with healthy eating too, girl! Where in Europe are you planning to go?!
That would be awesome if you made it to Blogger Bash! We are doing a couple of days in Germany and then going to Paris for a couple of days, ending of course in Disneyland Paris 😉
That Blogorail sounds so exciting! And I can’t wait to see my guest post published, as well as read others! 🙂

I’m excited to share your guest post!
Great job on your goals last month!! I also want to do some blogging collaborations! It was supposed to happen last month but it fell through. Boo! That’s awesome that you had a great time on your trip to Disney. More importantly you got to relax a little, which is always nice. I have not added a popular post to my sidebar yet either. I’m seriously slacking over here. Letting stress from work not get to you is so important. I try to do it a lot. Work is stressful! Good luck with your goals this month!
Thanks! Sometimes coordinating the collaborations can be quite difficult! I’ve got one that will definitely be happening this month and a couple of others that are in the works but we’ll see what comes of it!
Wow these are all great goals! I hope you can get your Ebook out soon! Yes, don’t let work stress get to you, you work at the happiest place on earth! Haha. Well wishes for the month beautiful!

Thanks – it’s actually my non-Disney related job that’s stressing me out right now! (I also work as a part time librarian). Great job normally but our work environment is going through a lot of changes and it’s just been a stressful time.
You have great goals! We are planning our first family trip to Disney in February. I can’t wait to take our 3 year old.
That’s so exciting – I bet your 3 year old would love it! If you need any help planning don’t hestitate to contact me!
Awesome goals!
Thank you!
I’ve loved reading your blog this month! SO Much content that I’ve really enjoyed. I always love reading your blog, but this month was especially fun. 🙂 I might have asked this before, but do you have favorite Disney blogs I should follow? You are the only one I follow but I’d love to add one to it!
That means so much to me! I have a bunch that I like for all different things – some are just about the parks, some just about the movies, one just about the food! What kind of posts do you like the most? I’m actually thinking about starting a monthly series featuring a Disney blogger of the month to share more great Disney blogs.
My pageviews were a little down last month too…maybe the weather 😉 Looks like you have a lot of great stuff planned for June. Can’t wait to read the collaborations and guest posts too.
I’m good with blaming the weather on that 😉
Great job, excited to see the ebook!
Thanks, it’s coming along!
