How is it possible that I’m less than 100 days away from my February Disney trip? In fact, as of today we’re down to 90 days! If you’ve been following my Glass Slipper Challenge training posts, you’ll know that I’m running both the Enchanted 10k in February and the Princess Half Marathon. After the races we hop on our first Disney cruise on the Disney Dream! It’s exciting to think of this trip coming up, but it also means I have to stick to my run training so I’m prepared!
We’ve got some fun things planned for this trip – here are just a few of the things I’m looking forward to:
- Spending time with my DisBrides friends who are also running the race
- Getting to tour the parks with my brother-in-law and his girlfriend
- Dinner at Le Cellier
- Getting my race medals!
- Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at Ohana
- Visiting Castaway Cay on the cruise
- Enjoying everything the Disney Dream has to offer!
I am literally counting down the days, and now i have a really great calendar to help me do so. It’s called Creative Countdown, and it’s specifically designed as a tear-away calendar to help you count down the days to a special event, including Disney trips!
They have two types of calendars you can choose from. One is a generic calendar that just counts down the days. But they also have an option to make it totally customizable, which is what I created for the countdown to my trip in February!
You can choose exactly how many days you want to have in the countdown – so if you wanted to stick this in a Christmas stocking you could start your countdown from Christmas on – how perfect is that? And you can add your own text for every single day. I put in fun little reminders about how close it’s getting, things like: “1 month away – hope you’re sticking to your half marathon training!” And things like that. But there are so many other things you can do too. I would think about adding Disney quotes, or fun activities to do with the kids on certain days to get them excited for your Disney trip! Also reminders to book dining or fastpasses would be a good idea too.
The website for Creative Countdown was easy to use and there are lots of fun customization options to choose from. It walks you through all your options step by step and allows you to create an account to save your design as well, so you don’t have to do it all at once if you don’t have time.
And if you’ve got a Disney trip coming up, I’ve got some extra Creative Countdown calendars to give away! These are the standard 60 day countdowns, and I’ve got two of them for you! All you need to do to enter is fill out the rafflecopter below! Open to US and Canada.
When is your next Disney trip?
How fun!
I’d love to make something similar to this for my wedding haha.
xoxo, Jenny
What a great idea! If you look at their website under designs they actually do have some cute ones that would be great for a wedding countdown!

My next Disney trip is a lot farther than 60 days, hoping for Disneyland next summer!
Never too early to start counting down! 😉
We are going with our niece and nephew in February. I am going to show my sister in law your blog. 🙂
How exciting!! I hope they can find some useful info on the blog, and if they have questions about anything just tell them to shoot me an email!
So cool! I love counting down to things, so these would be awesome. I really can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week, then Christmas…ugh. Not ready. It will be February before you know it…but I know you’ll be ready to run.
I know, the holidays really snuck up on me! I can’t believe how close we are to Thanksgiving and then Christmas. How did that happen??
Oh! I forgot. We’ll probably be going to Disney in another year or two.
Very exciting! I think your boys will be at the perfect ages then to enjoy it 🙂
Love the post! Thank you Becky!
Thank you so much for your fun product!
I’d love to go, maybe a few years down the line, after I’ve finished my degree.
That would be a great way to celebrate finishing your degree!
My next trip is for the Enchanted 10K in February! I luck out that my school has off for February break, so I can’t wait to get back for the 3rd time in 4 years!
Oh so exciting, that’s the same weekend I’ll be there! Have you done a run Disney race yet? They are so much fun!
Are you going to Disneyland or Disney World? If you’re going to Disneyland, I would love to meet up with you!!! Also, thank you for hosting so many fantastic giveaways. I love how you give so many business a chance to shine. 🙂
I’ll be in Disney World this time… but if I get back to Disneyland I will definitely let you know!! I’m thinking not til 2017… kinda hoping I can get out for the D23 expo that year but we’ll see! And thank you Julia, I love featuring small businesses with great products to help them get the word out!
Aah, too bad it isn’t open for Europe.. Oh well 🙂

These are so cute! What a fun way to stay excited about an upcoming event or trip, I will have to pin for our next vacation.
Yeah, it’s a really fun way to stay excited!
That is just too cool! Love that!
Thanks, it is definitely a fun way to look forward to a trip!
