I wasn’t sure how this week was going to go, since I was away at a conference for 4 days and it was jam packed with activities. Our only breaks were usually after meals, and I don’t run well on a full stomach. Luckily I got my runs in for the week!
On Sunday I did my half hour run during an afternoon break from the conference on the treadmill. Not my best time, but I got it done.
Wednesday I managed an outdoor run in the evening. This run felt really good – challenging, but in a good way, not an “I’m gonna die” way. The way running used to be for me most of the time.
Then Friday I did my long run, which was 8 miles. I decided I was going to take it easy since I’ve been struggling a bit. It was rather warm and very humid that morning, so I drank a ton of water. But I got it done! Not my best time, but I completed the 8 miles.
