This week actually felt like a decent week of running again! Getting back on track and feeling a little bit better about doing the DL half. And in other news, a bit more info was released about the DL Paris half marathon, which I’m hoping to get to (provided registration isn’t too competitive and miss out!). Can’t wait to start planning that, but one thing at a time 😉
Monday was my worst day of the week. I think the heat is affecting me more than it did last summer. I have to make a better effort to either get up earlier to run or wait until later in the evening (and consequently not eat too much in the early evening before a run so I don’t get sick).
Wednesday was a great run! I did it in the evening when it was cooler and kept a pace I was proud of.
Friday I did a longer, 7 mile run and was super happy with that pace as well. Considering that last week I did an 8 mile run at a 13 min/mile pace, being able to do 7 in 11:45 min/mile pace was very encouraging!
