I was very excited to do some shopping while at Disneyland Paris! And like I’ve been doing with my Disney World trip, I wanted to share what I picked up. The funny thing is, I actually budgeted to buy more if I saw stuff I liked, but a lot of what they have over there is still very generic Disney. I had my eye out for stuff I could only get in Paris! But I still found some cute things.
If you’re a regular follower of my blog, you know that I have a thing for Disney mugs. They had tons of cute Disneyland Paris mugs! I ended up getting two. This one is large, colorful, and has the Fab 5 hanging around in the Disneyland Paris parks. I’m using this one at work right now and it always brightens my day!
The other mug I got was a Ratatouille mug. Not surprisingly, Ratatouille is big in Disneyland Paris, especially with the new section of the park that’s all Ratatouille themed – and it’s amazing. This mug is beyond cute, looking like a chef’s hat with Remy on it. The handle is even a spoon, and it has the cute logo on the inside.
I wanted a cute shirt and debated awhile on the options, but I picked this one in the end. I really love the artwork. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the fact that it’s white – I feel like my white shirts don’t last as long because they get stained so easily, but hopefully I can keep it in good condition!
Every time we visit a new place in our travels we get a magnet. When we were on our honeymoon to Disney World we got a 3D castle magnet that we really like. Then in Disneyland in California we came across a similar one. So in Paris we were looking at all the magnet options and Jason said, “I wish there was a castle one like the others we have!” We were with our awesome friends Megan and Chris, and Chris thought he remembered seeing one in the gift shop by Buzz Lightyear. So he and Jason ran over there and they actually found exactly what we were looking for!
I also get a pin every Disney trip I take, so of course I needed one here too. I’m a big fan of Ratatouille and all the love it gets in Disneyland Paris. They had this pin design with the Eiffel Tower and a number of different Disney characters, but I had to go with the one that had Linguine and Remy.
While not Disneyland Paris specific, I also got these towels because they are so pretty. We’re trying to do a classic Mickey theme in our guest bathroom so these will be perfect. It was one of those deals where if you spend a certain amount of money you can get the towels at a discounted price, so we couldn’t pass them up!
Of course, the best “souvenirs” I got weren’t ones that you can pick up from a souvenir shop. They are keepsakes I will absolutely treasure even more so than what I bought because I earned them. They are some of the most beautiful medals I have – both the Disneyland Paris half marathon and the Castle to Chateau Challenge.
What’s your favorite item from my Disneyland Paris haul? What types of souvenirs do you like to buy?
So how many mugs do you have now? And where do you keep them all?
I haven’t counted! And we surprisingly still have cabinet space, but I’ll probably be in trouble after that…
Wow! You got some awesome stuff! I love the tee-shirt and the towels! Congrats on the half marathon and challenge. You were busy!
Thanks so much!
I like your tee shirt best, but agree that a color other than white would be better. Your little castle magnet collection is cool!
Thanks! I do with the tee was a different color but most of them were white surprisingly!
Great picks! I love that Ratatouille mug…so cute! I also love that you found another castle magnet for your collection.
I was amazed we were able to find another castle magnet that was exactly what we wanted – and that my friends knew exactly where to find it!
I love those Mickey towels. My bathroom isn’t Mickey themed but I would still use them!
Yeah, I like them because they have the subtle Disney thing going on, it’s not too over the top.
Wow! How amazing! Love the Ratatouille mug! And those medals! Congratulations!
I absolutely couldn’t resist the Ratatouille mug!
Oh my gosh I love the Ratatouille mug!! I had no idea they made a whole section of the park about that movie! I guess that means I need to go back. 🙂 So cute!!
Yes, i couldn’t resist the cute Ratatouille stuff!
