Disney holiday gift guide to support Disney cast members

Below is a special Disney holiday gift guide to support Disney cast members who have been laid off or furloughed by shopping their Etsy shops!

While the pandemic has been hard on everyone in different ways, as a Disney fan my heart really goes out to the Disney cast members who have been furloughed or laid off. Disney has laid off over 30,000 on their cast members at this point, many of whom were with the company for years. Many of them have families to support, or have dedicated their lives and careers to Disney. Or maybe they were just starting out and were fulfilling their dream of working there. 

There have been various ways to donate, but one way you can help these cast members is to support their side businesses or new ventures. Many of them create things, sell on Etsy, provide services, etc. I’ve collected a list (this is just a sampling!) of laid off cast members who sell on Etsy. I figured with the holidays coming up and lots of Disney fans to shop for, this would be the perfect way to support them and get some unique items as gifts.

This truly is just a small amount of cast member shops and services – I focused on Etsy but plenty have businesses run through their own websites, instagram, etc. If you’d like to check out all of the options join the facebook group Ear for Each Other. There are so many so I just highlighted some of my favorites here. Many of these things would be great stocking stuffers as well!
