I received free shirts from Zazzle in exchange for this review, but all opinions are my own.
When you walk around Disney World, one thing you’re sure to see is families in matching shirts. Maybe a whole crew in bright orange shirts that say “Smith Family vacation” or shirts with matching Mickey heads. However, being all matchy-matchy isn’t for everyone. The good news is there are still lots of ways to put together cute coordinating outfits for Disney without wearing the same exact shirt!
When my friends and I went down for a girls trip, they didn’t want to do identical shirts (and that’s totally okay!). But while searching on Zazzle I came across tons of different Disney designs that worked well together. I spent so much time browsing their website and looking at all of the awesome designs. They have pretty much every Disney character you can think of, and for most characters there are multiple designs. Before we made our decision we also considered doing different princesses, some of the dwarves, Winnie the Pooh and friends, or just our favorites characters.
After looking through them all we decided to do some of the characters from Inside Out. Each has their own design but they are the same style for each character. I picked Joy, and my two friends were Sadness and Anger. They also had the design for Fear, Disgust, and Bing Bong (which we may have to get for January when we are going back with more friends!)
One of the great things about Zazzle Disney shirts is that you can get their shirts in a variety of styles. Short sleeves, tank tops, long sleeves, sweatshirts, women’s fit, etc. So you can pick whatever you prefer. We went with the basic t-shirt. But once I got mine I actually played around with it a little and repurposed it into a tank top. The design still looked good so you can see how it works on any style of shirt! They were good, comfy shirts for walking around the theme parks.
Both of my friends loved the shirts and asked if we could wear them again in January (but probably over long sleeves for that trip!). So we’ll probably do that again one day, and see if we can fit in a meet and greet with Joy and Sadness while we’re wearing them.
And now you can get an Inside Out shirt like ours! Enter this giveaway for your chance to win your choice of Anger (M), Joy (M), or Sadness (XL).
Have you ever done coordinating or matching shirts for Disney? Which characters would you choose for you and your group traveling?
They’re all very cute, so it’s hard to narrow it down to just one favorite. If I were going in the winter, I think I might grab this one for cool nights. http://www.zazzle.com/disney_logo_girl_characters_shirt-235170004198457922
Ooh that is really cute! I love that one!
Those are super cute! I love design of the shirt. It gives it a more mature feel so you d on’t feel like an adult wearing a little kid’s shirt! Super cute! I also love how you adjusted yours into a tank!
Thanks! I agree, that was nice about all of the options – there are some that are more designed for little kids, and others that look a little more adult 🙂
Such cute shirts! I have no idea what to wear for my WDW trip haha
Haha I have to admit, planning what to wear is something I always look forward to for a Disney trip!
Oh my gosh those are SO cute and such a smart way to secretly match!
La Belle Sirene
Yeah, I think it’s a fun option for adults!
I love the Inside Out shirts! I am not a fan of the matching shirts, but I love the coordinating/themed shirts! Fingers crossed for the contest!
Yeah, I think it’s more fun to find coordinating outfits than just matching shirts!
My mom and I had the BEST time picking out our outfits when we made a big trip over to Disney World. I just got back from Disneyland Paris and the first thing I thought about was what my outfit was going to be! It was a tad murky that day, so I was huddled in my Paris sweatshirt, but even so, Disney Style is a huge perk of the visits themselves.
I totally agree! Our trip to Disneyland Paris is coming up in about a month and a half so I’m already starting to think about what I’ll wear for that one!
Oh my goodness! Those are adorable! I love them!
They are really cute, I’m glad I found them!
how cute! I love the idea of coordinating but not matching.
Thanks! I agree, I thought that was more fun than just having the same exact shirt.
I like the Grumpy Embroidered Hoodie
That one looks cute!
I love the shirts with Cars characters. My son loves Cars.
Cars is a great option for boys!
Honestly I love the Sadness one!
I do too, all of the Inside Out ones are basically perfect!
