I will start out this post by announcing that I am now officially a travel agent specializing in Disney! So if you’re interested in booking a trip to Disney, please contact me ([email protected]) I know there are a lot of Disney experts that read this blog that don’t think they need a travel agent, but I wanted to explain to you why I really do think having one is a great asset to your trip planning (In the past I’ve used others myself for my Disney trips!).
It costs you absolutely nothing to use a travel agent. So why wouldn’t you? They can do so much for you at no cost to you. You can have as much or as little control as you like over the bookings and everything that goes into the trip.
You will save time.
These days there is a lot that goes into booking a Disney trip. Resort reservations, dining reservations, fastpass reservations, magical express, magic bands – that’s just the tip of the iceberg! If you’re not a Disney expert you could spend countless hours researching all of that, but a Disney travel agent will have that information ready for you, and will be able to tailor it to your particular wants and needs.
We know our stuff.
Too often there are Disney travel agents that just book your trip and then call it a day. That’s not how we do things at Castle Dreams Travel. Before booking we can help you figure out where to stay that’s in your budget, and then we’ll help with everything else – memory maker, fastpass plus, dining reservations, magical express, etc. If you know where you want to eat, great! If you don’t, I can recommend a number of places based on your tastes and budget.
Discover hidden secrets.
There is so much more to Disney than meets the eye, and they’re introducing new things all the time! Did you know that there is a fireworks dessert party in the Magic Kingdom? A special Frozen event happening right now for the holidays? Or festivals like Food and Wine and Flower and Garden in Epcot throughout the year? Or maybe it’s just a cool street performer or an interesting show that you might have passed up otherwise. Disney travel agents know about these things, and if you’re interested they can pass along the knowledge to you.
We’re passionate and want you to love Disney.
I can’t make a living off of booking other people’s Disney trips, I just don’t get enough income from it. But I love planning Disney trips, even if they’re not my own – that’s why I do it! I honestly get excited about it, and if someone is excited about planning your vacation you know it will probably be a good one! I love Disney and I want you to love it as much as I do.
You can save money on your trip.
Because we get so much information from Disney and do this as a job, we are up to date on all of the latest discounts and deals. If there’s one that applies to you when you book we can get it for you, and if one comes out after you book we can update your reservation to get you a better price. It’s one less thing for you to worry about!
You can have as much control as you want.
Just looking for someone to give advice, but you still like being in control? Let us book your initial reservation and you’ve got our services in terms of dining, rides, which day to go to which park, and more. If you know where you want to eat and feel more comfortable making your own dining reservations or your own FP+ reservations, you can still do that. But if you don’t want to do it yourself, we’ll take care of it for you!
You don’t have to deal directly with Disney if you don’t want to.
There are many things I love about Disney, but their website isn’t always one of them. It can be down a lot, or malfunctioning, or it can just be confusing if you haven’t used it a lot before. Even if you make a phone call, you have to make the time to do that, go through being put on hold, etc. We’ll do all of that for you.
Your vacation is personalized to you.
One of the most important things to me about planning other people’s vacations is making sure it is what they want. Whether it’s a couples trip, a family with kids, or a solo adventure, I can recommend restaurants, rides, and other activities that suit your tastes. Have other issues? I’ll help you work with those too and give you the best advice I can. For example, while recently booking a trip for a couple with a number of food allergies, I explained how Disney deals with food allergies (very well, by the way), and even pointed them toward a useful blog with posts about dining at Disney with dietary restrictions. I want to make your Disney trip as magical as possible!
