I’m back with another mug of the month post for you! This makes 3 months in a row, so I’m back on a good streak now. I used to post every single month, but other blog posts became more important (there are always mugs, just not enough time!). Here’s hoping I can keep this going.
This month’s mug was a Christmas gift from one of my best friends, and it’s the perfect mug for those of us who feel like the Disney parks is our home – but we’re stuck at our actual homes far away from Florida most of the time.
It’s simple and elegant, but just that one word done in this style really says a lot. The O in home is replaced with the Disney castle. I really like the colors on this one. It’s a lot of natural, muted colors with the cream colored mug, gray letters, and tan base.
But then the castle is a really rich shade of red. That pop of color really brightens things up – just like Disney brightens up our lives! Not to mention that red is one of Mickey Mouse’s main colors, so it makes sense.
What’s in my mug: I recently got a new shipment of coffee from Expedition Roasters, and while I have a couple of trusty favorites, I also decided to pick out a few new ones to try! Right now I’m really enjoying the Main Street U.S.A Colombian coffee. I enjoy a good Colombian, and this one does not disappoint. A really well balanced medium roast. If you’re interested in trying any of their Disney inspired coffees, use the code DISNEYINYOURDAY at checkout to get 10% off.
What I’m currently reading: I’ve just finished my second read of this book, The Joy of Saying No by Natalie Lue. I’m at a point in my life right now where something has to give, because I know I’m headed towards a path of burnout and the stress is getting to be too much. But when you’re passionate about so many things, how do you even know where to start to set boundaries or make choices about where to say no and where to say yes? That’s where this book has been really helpful in exploring those ideas, and why I might struggle in some areas to set boundaries more than others.
What mug are you using right now? And what are you currently reading?

I’ll bring everybody some Puerto Rican coffee for our trip in January – it’s a shame so little makes it to the mainland!
Yes please, I would love that!!
