10 Disney Christmas decorations to make

November 4, 2019 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

I will admit, Christmas is my favorite holiday! I would always get so eager and excited to decorate the house for Christmas every year, but the family rule was to wait until after Thanksgiving. So that Friday every year we started bringing down the boxes from the attic and let the decorating begin!

And now that I have my own house, I always try to add some Disney touches to my decorating!  So I’ve searched around and found some really cool and fun Disney Christmas decorations – if you’re looking to add a little Disney to your house this winter, take a look at the inspiration below!

Mickey Christmas Wreath

My blog post on a fall Mickey wreath is one of my most popular in the autumn, so I think it would be perfect to do a Christmas version of it! From As the Bunny Hops.

Star Wars snowflakes

Want to really take your snowflakes to the next level? Download these Star Wars snowflake templates and cut out some interesting and intricate designs. From Anthony Herrera Designs.

Mickey Mouse tree skirt

Putting a skirt around your tree can add such a festive touch so I always include one (and my cats love to sleep on it!). Creating one with Mickey heads is simple and adorable! From Morning Chores.

Up Christmas Tree Topper

This is definitely one of the coolest Christmas tree toppers I’ve ever seen. It takes a little time but it’s not too difficult and the finished product is gorgeous, especially for Up fans. From Disney Family.

Disney Christmas Countdown

Countdown how many days until Christmas with this easy Mickey inspired chalkboard countdown! From Momtastic.

Olaf Sock Snowman

Frozen is the perfect way to incorporate Disney into Christmas since there’s so much snow – and of course, Olaf! From One Creative Mommy.

Easy Mickey Garland

I’ve held on to this post since I first read it because I love this idea – and how easy it is! Make your Mickey garland and then use it to decorate your tree, fireplace, or anywhere in your house. From This Fairy Tale Life.

Pixie Dust Ornament

Add some pixie dust to your Christmas tree with this pixie dust ornament! From Crafting in the Rain.

Toy Story Alien Elves

Turning the aliens from Toy Story into elves? Genius! This is a great little craft that would be a cute decoration, and a fun one to do with the kids too. From Disney Family.

Printable Disney Gift Tags

For a super easy way to add some Disney to your gift giving, download and print out these free Disney gift tag labels. From Picture the Magic.

Which of these is your favorite?  Do you have any touches in Disney in your Christmas decor?
