Create a Disney kitchen with Disney Eats!

When I got married back in 2011 and created a wedding registry, I had no real concept of what sort of color schemes or interior design I wanted for my apartment or future house.  I was 22 and renting a room in someone’s house when I created my registry! So I just picked out things I liked, including dishes. I got a dish set that I still love, which is white with red berries/flowers.  As my love for Disney grew throughout the years, I also discovered that the white and red color scheme works really well to give my kitchen a Mickey Mouse theme as well!

So I was excited to see that ShopDisney has just announced a new line called Disney Eats, which is all kitchen goodies themed after Mickey and Minnie! That also means that they are all in the red/white/black/yellow color scheme, so it will match my kitchen well 😉  There are over 30 items available.  Although I don’t have kids, a lot of the items are kid friendly without being childish, so I think they’re great for families as well. I’m not going to share all the items here (you can check out ShopDisney.com for the full list!), but wanted to highlight my favorites and things I would love to add to my kitchen!

Mickey Mouse mixing bowl set

Two bowls and two spoons in red and white with a fun Mickey pattern.  I feel like I somehow never have enough mixing bowls, and I love the fact that these also have a spout on them to make pouring even easier! That would be lifesaver when baking, which is my favorite kitchen activity.

Minnie Mouse cookie cutter set

I have a Mickey Mouse cookie that I use all the time – pretty much any Disney themed party will see a Mickey cookie (check out last Christmas!). Having a Minnie one would be great to match it, and I love the bow too!

Mickey Mouse food mold set

I don’t know what foods I would mold, but I could definitely find a use for this! Especially for parties, of which I tend to throw a lot. All the Mickey shaped food!

Mickey Mouse Mug

You didn’t think I could make a list like this without including a mug, did you?! This classic Mickey mug is the perfect one to go with the rest of these Disney Eats items.

Mickey Mouse trivet

I love the classy look of this aluminum trivet. And a trivet happens to be something that I don’t own yet! So this would be the perfect one to add to my kitchen.

Minnie Mouse towel set

I feel like I constantly need new kitchen towels. I like the Minnie Mouse set over the Mickey one because it comes with the red towel which matches my kitchen so well!

In exciting news, Jason and I are getting a new refrigerator TODAY! I guess that’s how you know you’ve officially reached adulthood, when a fridge becomes exciting.  And what better way to christen a new fridge than with some fun Disney magnets?
