When Enzo’s Hideaway first started doing a Sunday Supper, I immediately wanted to try it. I love Italian food and sharing some family style on a Sunday sounded great – when my parents came down to Florida with us it seemed the perfect time for this type of meal!
Enzo’s Hideaway is a really neat place, and I enjoyed the regular dinner there once before. The food I’ve had was very tasty and the atmosphere is fun, mimicking a speakeasy type place. The restaurant is sort of underground and doesn’t have windows or anything.
For the Sunday Supper you can actually bring your own wine and there’s no corkage fee, so we decided to do that to save a little money. They happily served us our wine and brought out bread with olive oil.
The first course of the meal was a giant meat and cheese plate with a salad:
This was huge! We easily could have just had this and wine and had a nice meal. This was for 4 people and we definitely did not finish all of it. There was a ton of fresh parmesan, as well as some other cheeses. I enjoyed most of the cheese and the prosciutto the most.
Then they brought out a bunch of different things for the main courses. You could share and take what you wanted. It worked really well for us:
There was a large dish of rigatoni (with the Sunday sauce, parmigiana reggiano and fresh basil). This was my favorite part of the main course, but I’m a huge pasta lover. The rigatoni were huge and tasty, and the sauce was very good. I could have just eaten this and been happy!
The middle bowl contained Hand Crafted Meatballs, sweet and spicy sausage and braised wagyu short rib. I’m not normally a big beef person in general, but I loved these meatballs and the spicy sausage. I think a lot of it had to do with the sauce they were in. The short rib was quite good too.
The last bowl had chicken, potatoes, and some veggies. I think this was the most neglected part of the meal only because we had so many other good things. The chicken was nice, not dry or anything, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Even though we were stuffed, there was still a dessert course left to come!
They brought 3 different types of desserts. The gelato was by far the favorite on the table – I believe it was a raspberry and a cookies and cream. I had a little cannoli and it was fine. Typical cannoli, nothing that stood out (though it went really well with the sorbet). None of us really care for tiramisu so that didn’t get touched.
One nice thing is that they were willing to box up anything we didn’t eat. So we brought back to the room a good bit of cheese and meat, as well as a few cannolis. These made for some pretty great late night snacks for the rest of the trip!
The Sunday Supper is $45 per person and they did accept my Tables in Wonderland discount. If you have a group of big eaters who appreciate good Italian food I think the Sunday Supper at Enzo’s Hideaway is a great experience. Bringing in our own wine was a really nice way to save a little money too. Just with the meats and cheeses, meatballs, and pasta, I would have been a happy camper!
Have you been to Enzo’s Hideaway? What part of the Sunday Supper would you most like to try?
“None of us really care for tiramisu so that didn’t get touched.”

Yes! The Sunday Supper was delicious but even if you don’t go for that their regular menu is so good.
