I know that this isn’t strictly Disney related, but having a Disney blog means a lot of my content is family friendly and I have a lot of moms, dads, and families reading. Kids are a huge part of the Disney magic and I came across something I wanted to share with all of you. It’s called cuddle+kind, and they are a company that will sell adorable handmade dolls – and the best part is, every sale also involves a donation to feed hungry children in need.
First, let’s talk about the dolls themselves. They are absolutely adorable and handmade by artisans in Peru. I love the different ones that are available – my favorites are the penguin and the mermaids, but they are all so cute! I think they would make fantastic gifts. They are perfect for newborns and how meaningful would it be to give someone a handmade item that also helps a good cause?
Now here’s the best part: for every cuddle+kind doll sold, 10 meals are donated to hungry children around the world. If you’re wondering how they manage this, cuddle+kind says “How will we give 10 meals? Through giving relationships we will sponsor feeding in the WFP School Launch program and be able to sponsor the feeding at Orphanages in Haiti through the Children’s Hunger Fund.” I think this is so fantastic.
In order to get the company started, they are launching an indiegogo campaign on September 16th. You will be able to order a doll and help them raise money to get this company off the ground and running! By donating to the indiegogo campaign you can not only be one of the first ones to get these dolls, you’ll also be helping cuddle+kind make the money that they need to thrive and continue to work toward this great cause.
Many of us are privileged to be able to travel and go to Disney, and even bring our kids. But there are some kids out there that don’t even have something as basic as food. We can help change that by supporting a cause like this. Learn more by watching the video:

Make sure you check out their social media links to keep up to date – you can find them on facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
If this is something that interests you and you decide to order one, please let me know. I’d love to hear how they are in person! I know this will definitely be on my list once my friends that are currently all getting married start the next step and I’m invited to baby showers!
I received compensation in exchange for writing this review. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.
Ridiculous how cute those are and I love the mission. So great. I want the mermaid one!
Me too, Heather! I have a couple of baby showers coming up and I’m definitely getting the mermaid for the girls 🙂
These are so cute, great gift ideas! And I love the donation aspect too
That’s what I was thinking too Kari – they are perfect gifts for baby showers or Christmas which are adorable but you can also feel good about helping a cause.
