Epcot Food and Wine Festival pasta crawl

August 23, 2019 by Becky 2 Comments

Sure, you could do a pub crawl around Epcot or the Food and Wine Festival to try different beers or drinks… but why not do something a little different instead? People have been doing cupcake crawls and dessert crawls around Disney World for awhile, but I thought it would be fun to focus on something I really love: pasta! And all the great pasta related dishes around the Food and Wine Festival.

If you’re a pasta lover like me, here are the booths you’ll want to stop at and the items you want to order! Whether you’re carb loading before the Wine and Dine half marathon or you just love some good pasta, you’re sure to find something here to make you happy.

I’ve tried to arrange the foods in an order where you could actually go booth by booth according to the festival map.

Presenting: the Epcot Food and Wine Festival Pasta Crawl!

Active Eats – Loaded Macaroni & Cheese with Nueske’s® Pepper Bacon, Cheddar and Leeks: you can’t go wrong with a good mac and cheese, and this is the best one you’ll find in Epcot.

The Cheese Studio – Braised Beef “Stroganoff” with Tiny Egg Noodles, Wild Mushrooms and Boursin® Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese Sauce: If you enjoy egg noodles, this is a good place to get them.

Wine and Dine Studio – Butternut Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter Vinaigrette, Parmesan Cheese and Pumpkin Seed: I had this last year and loved it. Great flavor with the brown butter and butternut squash.

Japan – Frothy Ramen: Chilled Noodles and Dashi Broth with a Light Foam Topping: If we were going to Food and Wine this year I know Jason would be all over this… he loves ramen!

Italy – Ravioli Carbonara: Parmesan and Pecorino Ravioli, Egg Yolk, Cream, and Bacon: Of course Italy would need to be a stop on a pasta crawl. The carbonara sounds pretty delicious.

Germany – Schinkennudeln: Pasta Gratin with Ham, Onions and Cheese: I wouldn’t expect great pasta from Germany but I’ve always been pleasantly surprised when I’ve had it here.

China – Black Pepper Shrimp with Garlic Noodles: A fairly straight forward Chinese pasta dish but I love the garlic noodles!

Thailand: Shrimp and Cold Noodle Salad: If you prefer your pasta as part of a cold pasta salad with shrimp, you can find that in Thailand.

Check out these other great crawls around the Epcot Food and Wine Festival too!

Have you enjoyed any pasta dishes at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival? Which is your favorite?

Active Eats – Loaded Macaroni & Cheese is always a go to during F&W. Creamy, smokey, spicy. What is not to love. You have to try the flank steak with chimichurri and the corn cake. It may be my husband’s favorite dish from Food and Wine.

I love that mac and cheese so much! The steak sounds awesome, it’s definitely going on my list for next time.
