Sure, you could do a pub crawl around Epcot or the Food and Wine Festival to try different beers or drinks… but why not do something a little different instead? People have been doing cupcake crawls and dessert crawls around Disney World for awhile, but I thought it would be fun to focus on something else: fruit! And all the great fruit related dishes around the Food and Wine Festival.
I love fruit, especially berries. And while it seems like the Flower and Garden Festival is usually a little more fruit forward, there are still some great options at Food and Wine! Whether it’s a decadent fruit dessert or a light fruit based salad, you’ll find something refreshing and tasty in Epcot.
I’ve tried to arrange the foods in an order where you could actually go booth by booth according to the festival map.
Presenting: the Epcot Food and Wine Festival Fruit Crawl!
Hawaii – Kalua Pork Slider with Sweet-and-Sour DOLE® Pineapple Chutney and spicy Mayonnaise: This slider is so good – it’s one of my top festival dishes overall, but it’s really the pineapple that makes it.
Australia – Deconstructed Pavlova with Pastry Cream, Citrus-macerated Berries and Lemon Myrtle Meringue: This sounds so light and delicious, I can only imagine how good it would be if you’ve had heavier items earlier in the day.
Appleseed Orchard – Frozen Apple Pie (non-alcoholic): This tasty beverage will be great on the hotter days of the festival. For those who enjoy alcohol, this spot also has an apple pie beer and green apple cider.
Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar – Banana Almond Soft-serve Sundae made with Blue Diamond Almond Breeze® Almondmilk, fresh Berries, and Chocolate Almond Streusel: I love banana soft serve. One of my besties had this last year and loved it.
Belgium – Golden Malted Belgian Waffle with Berry Compote and Whipped Cream: A waffle with berries is my personal favorite way to enjoy a waffle.
Germany – Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce: A classic dish, you can’t go wrong with a German apple strudel.
The Alps – Blueberry and Almond Frangipane Tart with Crème Fraîche Cream and Blue Diamond® Almonds (V): This booth is new this year, but I love anything with blueberry so this dessert would be at the top of my list.
Check out these other great crawls around the Epcot Food and Wine Festival too!

What a neat idea to do a fruit crawl. I love berries, too! That waffle looks amazing, and I would just love to take a bite of that apple strudel.
I’m pretty sure that I would end up just hovering in Belgium forever with that kind of delicious treat! I love waffles!
