Giveaway! Enchanted Beauty subscription box review

January 19, 2016 by beckyginther@gmail.com 54 Comments

Enchanted Beauty - Disney in your Day

I received this box for free from Enchanted Beauty Box in exchange for a review.  All opinions are honest and my own.

I’m very excited to bring to you today a review of a highly anticipated, unique Disney subscription box!  This one is called Enchanted Beauty, and it is a make-up and accessories box that has a different Disney theme every month.  Familiar with subscriptions like Ipsy or Birchbox?  Similar to that, except you get more stuff, jewelry pieces, and it’s Disney themed!

The best thing I can say about the Enchanted Beauty box is that it is expertly curated.  It’s clear that the box’s creator put a lot of time and effort into selecting the items to go along with the theme.  December’s box was the first one, and the theme was Star Wars: “The Force is Fierce.”  Perfect for us strong, fierce Disney women!

Though postcards with descriptions of everything were meant to be included, they got delayed.  However, she was nice enough to email me all the information.  And they will be included in future boxes.  Let’s take a look at all of the cool things I received!

Enchanted Beauty - Disney in your Day

Hard Candy eye shadow (in “make believe”): I love this duo eye shadow and the fact that it has two pretty, shimmery colors in one!  It was selected for the box because it looks like the moon (Star Wars fans should be familiar with the line, “that’s no moon”!).  With the silvery colors it definitely reminds me of a celestial theme.  Perfect.

Enchanted Beauty - Disney in your Day

Star Wars Cover Girl lipstick: The theme for this box is “The Force is Fierce,” and this is definitely a bright, fierce color!  I love pinks so it’s great for me.

True lips lip liner: So this might be bad of me to admit, but I’ve never actually used lip liner before!  I totally should because it looks so much nicer and it will be great for theater.  So I was excited to get this and try it out!

Enchanted Beauty - Disney in your Day

Ulta nail polish (in “silver bell): Such a gorgeous shade of nail polish.  I don’t wear nail polish often now because I use Jamberry, but sometimes if I just want color I turn to it.  And I’ll be looking forward to seeing how this color is on.  It looks so shimmery and pretty in the bottle!

Enchanted Beauty - Disney in your Day

Chewie and Han Solo necklace: designed to look like pop art, this adorable necklace is a great tribute to these two characters.
Star bracelet:  Really cute and fun for the Star Wars theme!
Darth Vader keychain: Not only is this cool looking, it’s also a flashlight!  His eyes light up and it makes light saber sounds.
Sparkle and Steel Earrings: these are handmade with ” Swarovski crystals made to look like the galactic sky” and they are absolutely GORGEOUS in person.  I’m so sad I can’t wear earrings because they are beautiful.  But hopefully they will make a nice gift for someone!  From the Etsy shop Sparkle and Steel.

One of the first questions I usually hear about a subscription box is if the cost is “worth it.”  The Enchanted Beauty box is $39.95 per month including sipping and my answer to that question would be absolutely.  You get a wide variety of items that have some good value to them, and in addition to that it’s clear that everything is well thought out.  I’ve seen some Disney subscription boxes where it seems to be just random items thrown together in a box.  This one has items that were carefully selected.  For make-up and Disney lovers you can’t go wrong!

Next month’s theme is “The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway,” so of course it will be a Frozen themed box!  Not only is that exciting in itself, but Enchanted Beauty has kindly offered to give away one free box to one of my readers!  All you have to do to enter is fill out the rafflecopter below.

Even if you don’t win, you can use the code DISNEYDAY for 25% off your order!  That’s an amazing value!

Thanks everyone! It seems like there are a lot of Ariel fans here and you can rest assured we have the theme “Kiss The Girl” up our sleeves, so subscribe and give us a chance. We put a lot of thought into curating the boxes and theming and though this is a preview box that you see here, the value of the box is a lot larger as we just launched our own cosmetic line!

Becky will be receiving another box in the future to show off to you guys (spoiler alert, Becky) but Disney fans are who are going to be appreciating this box the most.

Use your DISNEYDAY coupon, try us out and if we don’t knock those Disney socks right off your feet then you can always cancel (but I promise, you won’t want to!)

Thank you to Becky for doing this review and the giveaway and good luck to all of you ladies.

    See you real soon,
    Stacey

Becky, It was a misunderstanding. There was nothing missing from the box, she was looking at the photo with all of the products in the box and that is our fault for posting it, which gives the false illusion of the box containing ALL of the products shown. We are new and are learning as we go.

I’m sorry you were unhappy, and we have personally spoken. As I mentioned, you did get everything in the box, but yours may not look like others as Light Side was different from Dark Side. Thank you for trying us out, we really appreciate it and hope you’ll try us again sometime.
