Looking for a last minute Halloween costume that doesn’t require much effort? You might be able to put together a simple Disney look with pieces right from your own closet! Depending on the clothing items you have and your ability to do some very simple DIY, I came up with some fun Disney Halloween costumes you can make from your closet.
In many ways this is similar to Disney Bounding, which is using regular clothes to create the appearance of a Disney character. However, I would take this a step further and make it more costume-like. For instance, if I was doing a subtle Disney bound of Mickey Mouse I’d just wear his colors – but to make it a costume I’d add mouse ears and gloves. I’ve tried to provide a variety of ideas since I know not everyone is like me and has several wigs and all sorts of items in their closets!
If you’re looking for simple pieces you can buy to really put together an easy costume, make sure you check out my post on easy and affordable Disney Halloween costumes for adults.

These are so clever. You seriously have a talent with all things Disney & costumes!
I love, love, love this post! I bet this is going to be a huge help to people who are in a rush to come up with a costume last minute. I’m also a big fan of basic colours and staple wardrobe items, so I could EASILY dress up as Winnie the Pooh – who knew?! ??
Love these! My go-to Halloween costume has always been a plain-clothes version of Princess Aurora. I just curl my hair and add a crown for a super easy and comfy costume.
Haha, this is so creative!
I personally love Micky Mouse, Winnie and Belle.
ALthough we don’t celebrate Halloween here, I do enjoy the custom part – we have a similar holiday too.
That’s neat that you have a similar holiday!
I love these! When I was in high school I did a simple Minnie Mouse costume like these, and it is still one of my favorite costumes ever, just because it was so simple!
I love when it’s easy! I have a Minnie Mouse costume like that too 🙂
What if you are doing it last minute and you have non of these?
Well, what do you have? Maybe we can come up with some more ideas!
Does anybody really have all of this stuff in ther closet? 🙁
Well I would be surprised if somebody has ALL of it! But the idea is to look for a few simple things and build from there – that’s why I included characters who wear solid colored shirts, jeans, and simple stuff like that.
